"2nd time here. First time last year was great, booked a luxury suite on top floor amazing view. Rebooked the same for recent trip but the suite had a completely obstructed view in both the living room and bedroom due to outside construction on the building; and the room didn’t appear to be properly prepared for a new arrival. I immediately returned to the front desk reporting the situation but no other luxury suites would be available till the next day. Sadly we didn’t even unpack or try to get comfortable knowing we’d be moving the next day. When we did move the following day, this is when we realized the first room they gave us hadn’t been properly set up and missing most amenities. I asked the front desk for a partial credit of the 1st night only and ended up with a cheese tray and bottle of champagne on our last night after a long day in town and already eaten, nice gesture for our trouble but not compensation. The gym is run down and equipment is in need of repair and also not accessible for anyone with mobility issues. Breakfast still good and staff in the restaurant were lovely. I doubt we’ll return which is sad since we had looked forward to this trip very much."

"This was my third time staying at Hotel San Fernando Plaza in Medellín, and once again it exceeded all my expectations! The breakfast buffet is absolutely spectacular, with a great variety and quality. The staff truly makes your stay special—they treat you like family and make you feel right at home. The rooms are always spotless, and the housekeeping team is very attentive, leaving everything perfectly clean and beautifully arranged. The gym facilities are excellent, and the spa is also a great place to relax and unwind. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel 100% to anyone visiting Medellín. I will definitely keep coming to this Hotel."

"Very nice stay as always at a Dann Carlton property. Comfortable bed. Linens could use updated. Water pressure excellent and plenty of hot water. Restaurants are good 43 Street is excellent. Breakfast buffet was perfect for me. Lots of good fruit. Pool is nice and big and clean with a lot of loungers and tables with umbrellas. Location is perfect. Lots within walking distance. I highly recommend."
