"We booked this hotel under the pretense that the resturant was open for business and the taxi price rate was similar to the rest of Ecuador or the reviews in our travel book. Hotel served a nice breakfast BUT no other food is available so one must go into Puerto Ayora for lunch and dinner. The taxi rate to and from hotel into town can be anywhere from $10-$15 each way..... if u want to freshen up after a long tour that will be 4 taxi rides......$40-$60 per day. Lawrence offered us a ride...

"This was one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. The staff was so friendly, caring, and supportive that we didn't want to leave. (Special shoutout to Enrique and Madelín at the front desk!)
The hotel is super clean. Our room was even mopped every day.
The pool and breakfast were amenities that made it even more worth staying."
