It was so nice dealing with an actual person who takes excellent care of their place with lots of thoughtful touches to make my stay super comfortable and relaxing. The place is luxurious for a single/couple, and the futon in the living room was very solid and comfortable. Robin's place is like staying in a real house, with a patio and grill, located in one of the nicer areas in Santa Cruz. Walking distance (15-20 minutes) from lots of stuff and a quick drive from UCSC. Plenty of peace and quiet even with the windows open constantly. ##### Trent D. The location is fantastic - 2 blocks from the ocean in a lovely neighborhood. We were able to walk to the Pier and Boardwalk from our front door every day. Seeing the waves and surfers never grew old. The host, Robin lives in the main house and was always available for anything we needed. We rarely saw her so we always felt like we had privacy. The apartment is above a large garage behind the house and is accessed by a private entrance and a flight of stairs. Very comfortable and a fully stocked kitchen made for a perfect stay. The place was really nice and so quiet. The owner had everything ready for us. We were within walking distance to the beach and all the wonderful places to eat. It is close to the beach in a lovely neighborhood. It's small but fully loaded with everything you need as a couple or small family. Robin was very helpful and accommodating. The location is superb. You can hear the crashing of the waves and the barking of the seals from the ocean a few blocked away. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, yet just a couple blocks from the ocean and West Cliff Drive. Many restaurants and winery tasting rooms are close by. It was the perfect place because of its proximity to the ocean, Wilder Ranch, Natural Bridges State Beach, UCSC arboretum, and Seymour Marine Discovery Center. We even spent a day at the Monterrey Aquarium. The accommodations were also amazing. Clean, comfortable and filled with everything we needed.
