The hotel was nice and clean, friendly staff and good parking (I didn't have their breakfast). My only complaint was that I was woken up by 2 very loud younger children from the room next door at 6:30 in the morning and it was loud until the family left around 8:00 am.

We enjoyed our two-night stay here. The hallway fan provided white noise, which helped minimize any outside or hallway sounds. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked, and the bed was comfortable. The front desk staff was attentive and responsive to our requests, which we appreciated. Breakfast was included - simple but satisfying, with everything well stocked and conveniently available. Parking was easy, and the jacuzzi was a nice bonus during our stay.

Aside from the fact that like every hotel in the greater Santa Barbara area this one is grossly overpriced, the stay was excellent--the room was clean and well sized. The staff were great; they were professional, helpful, and friendly. The breakfast was enjoyable and the coffee good. The location is 5 minutes away from UCSB and 15 minutes from lower State St. And, there was adequate parking (can't say that about every hotel in the area). Aside from the the fact that everywhere else (except Manhattan) you'd probably pay at lease half as much for the same room, I have no complaints and had an excellent stay.
