The property is situated in a nice location with a walkable square, but when we visited there was a lot of construction in the area making access and parking more difficult. It would have been nice to be informed of this. The rooms are good but worn and need some upgrades and had no air conditioning, though units were installed they were inoperative. We still enjoyed but I’d give an overall rating of a 7. Once construction is complete it should benefit and go up to an 8-9 rating.

Nice pension in the center of Valea Mare
Nice pension in traditional mountain style. Our room was very nicely decorated and we had our own balcony. Our bathroom was equipped with a luxurious shower. Very warm and helpful hospitality. Ample breakfast. We also had dinner for 8 EUR per person, which was traditional Romanian and also very ample. ...
