It's located (beachfront) on the gulf side of West Gulf Drive, in a quiet, relaxing part of the island...yet is in close proximity to all of the shopping, restaurants and activities. Being on the west side of the island, you will have private access to the beach area to take in the breathtaking sunsets and have fun on the beach. The property is nestled among stately palm trees, and has a heated swimming pool and BBQ grills. Island activities include fishing, swimming. shelling and surfing. Sanibel Island offers bike paths, a wildlife refuge, golf and tennis clubs, and dining and shopping at wonderful stores and restaurants. Being an end unit, 103 has extra windows allowing lots of extra sunlight! Our unique location on Sanibel Island allows you to watch the sunset from the beach, a perfect ending to a fun filled day and the start of a great evening. Unit 103 is a 1st floor end unit up one flight of stairs with elevator access at either end of the open air hallway. It is located 100 yards from the beach and has a fully screened lanai with views of the beach. One parking spot included with rental. There was plenty of space on the beach with families every 10 yards or farther and most times we were the only people at the pool. The condo was also well equipped with everything that we needed for the stay, such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, dishwasher and laundry soap, spices for cooking, beach gear, nightlights in all rooms and even a travel crib for our baby. The condo is spacious, great location with short walk to the beach. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking, the coffee maker could have been better, but there are 2, one keurig and a coffee maker. Beds were comfortable. There is beach gear outside, such as chairs and umbrella. We rented bikes for the week and were able to ride to different places to eat, shop. Pretty centrally located. Balcony has view of the ocean, right off the beach. We had a tortoise in the backyard! This was a bit pricier than other comparable rentals, but everything was booking fast! On the higher side of our budget for # of beds, plan ahead! Quiet facility with other families. Easy check in process, although only uses keypad - kept thinking there was a key in the box to get into downstairs storage but never figured that out. Nice, clean pool on site. Could use a bit more stocking of kitchen utensils, pans and storage supplies but we added some. There was no need to reach owners, messages through vrbo were sufficient. This area was great for daily beach going but a bit farther from the shops and restaurants so we drove to most of those, did rent bikes and ride those a couple of days to explore. We LOVE Sanibel!!! Beautiful rental and soo many pretty shells found on the beach at this property! Very satisfied! ##### Bill K. Owner has gone out of their way to try to provide all the comforts of home. The kitchen was fully stocked with EVERYTHING you could possibly need for meal prep. There were plenty of beach supplies. The accommodations were perfect for my family. Close to beach, restaurants and anything we wanted to visit. Everything needed for cooking and spending quality time with each other. This condo had everything we needed for a comfortable and happy stay at Sanibel! We especially loved the view from the lanai, the close proximity to the beach, the keyless entry, the cleanliness of the unit, and it’s location close to restaurants and grocery stores.
