This beautifully appointed cottage features a king bed in the master bedroom, a sleeper sofa in the living room, a full bathroom and a comprehensive kitchen. Festooned with gorgeous palm trees and an ever present ocean breeze, Palmview Inn has been the choice of many travelers year after year. Close to beaches, dining and shopping, this property boasts one of the best locations on the island. The Space: Pirates Cove is one of six cottages within the historic Palmview of Sanibel, each one beautifully appointed with a distinct theme. The Palmview Inn offers vibrant fully equipped cottages within walking distance to Sanibel’s famous shelling beaches and the Gulf of Mexico. Complimentary adult bikes and beach equipment are provided to explore the nearby bike paths, or to enjoy a day at the beach full of fun under the sun. Pirates Cove can be booked in combination with the lockout suite adjacent to it for a two bedroom, two bath experience. Please see the listing titled Pirates Retreat for more information on the two bedroom variation. We are pet friendly for up to two dogs up to 50lbs each. If you will be traveling with pets, please notify us after confirming your booking so that we can update your reservation accordingly. Per pet fee of $75 will apply. The Neighborhood: The cottage is situated on the desirable East End of Sanibel, which is equidistant to almost every sought after beach on Sanibel. You will be near restaurants, shopping, and activity, while still far enough removed to be reminded that you are on vacation and provided ample opportunity to socially distance away from the hustle bustle that can characterize island life. This location is also advantageous in that it provides quick on and off access to the causeway, as to allow guests a quick commute into and from Fort Myers without having to contest with seasonal traffic. Other Things to Note: Guests must complete rental agreement prior to the stay A non-refundable cancellation fee of $100 will apply for reservations cancelled prior to the cancellation policy window. My husband and I love Sanibel and visit every year. We enjoyed staying at this property. It's a great location! The walk to the beach is a few blocks. They had bikes included which is a huge plus. On the first day we were there we used the beach chairs (which are nice chairs) and the umbrella. When we got to the beach the umbrella was broken. I emailed Cat and within the hour they had provided a new umbrella. Any time I text or emailed they got back with me immediately. They also provide a washer and dryer if needed. They had everything you need for a short-term stay - coffee pot, dishwasher, microwave, beach towels, etc. This place is nice and very affordable. Another thing we loved is they offer short term rentals here. Most of the places in Sanibel only offer 7 day or 30 day rentals. Highly recommended if you want an affordable, clean, cute place to stay so you can enjoy beautiful Sanibel! ##### Christi T.
