Great and helpful staff! The grounds were kept clean and nice! Lots of trees and plants around the property. The rooms were a bit outdated, they offered daily cleaning upon request. The rooms were a little hot and the AC were not fully functional. We paid extra during booking for the breakfast after reading reviews about the spread. But not very many options and repeated breakfast everyday. So we skipped after the first day. Overall nice and friendly staff, safe area and close to everything you’d need in Kuta!

Our stay at Kalandara Resort in Lombok was truly breath-taking. We chose this resort for our honeymoon, and it exceeded every expectation—we did not regret our decision for a single moment. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. Little touches like slippers, Crocs for the infinity pool, and a Bluetooth speaker added a special charm to our experience and made our stay feel even more luxurious and personal. What really made our time unforgettable was the staff. Every single member of the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable, always greeting us with a smile and making us feel so welcome throughout our stay. The food was another highlight—fresh, delicious, and with great variety. The portions were generous, and we’re pretty sure we left having gained a few happy pounds! The resort itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly peaceful. We truly miss our time at Kalandara Resort and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you for helping us create such a special and unforgettable honeymoon memory.

The villa is lovely - clean, comfortable, and great to return to for a refreshing dip in the pool. The team, including the owner, was friendly and helpful. We hired a scooter through them, which was conveniently delivered to the property. We stayed for four nights, and for the most part, it was a great experience. Unfortunately, on the third day, we discovered that breakfast was actually included in our booking - contrary to what we were told during check-in. Having stayed in multiple places during our trip, we simply hadn’t double-checked and took their word for it. By the time we realised, we had already spent quite a bit of money eating elsewhere, effectively paying double. When we raised the issue, they offered breakfast on our final day and waived the minibar charges as a goodwill gesture, but this only covered about half the cost. They still charged extra for oat milk and two lattes on our only villa breakfast, and no apology was offered at any point. Since we owed money for the scooter, it would have been easy to offset the rest, but the situation was left unresolved. We appreciated the late check-out, but it had already been offered in advance and wasn’t part of the resolution. Aside from the above, we’d have loved an espresso machine, a water dispenser, and thinner pillows - we woke up with sore necks each morning. In short: a beautiful place with lots of positives, but the handling of the breakfast issue left a disappointing final impression.

Stunning views, great concept and potential. Villas tastefully decorated as is the whole property. Don’t like that the restaurant manager jumped on us and demanded to know what time we would come for breakfast. Every meal we had in the restaurant had ingredients missing from the dishes as described in the menu / I understand, given remote location, they can run out of stock, but at least acknowledge that and let the diner know that core ingredients wouldn’t be in the dish. Sadly out of our two nights there was a party next door and the music blared so loudly til 3:40 am that our windows reverberated with the base - and we got no sleep. That was a real let down for me - so desperate wad I to get Some sleep. Otherwise so remote it was a good place to chill out. Impossible to find the light switches in the rooms and to light up the path to the gates of Villa / please make clearer. Lovely spa with very good therapists and there is an effort to put on activities for children and families. Breakfast excellent even with missing ingredients. Dinner also very nice with sent variety and choice. Great cocktails and staff already keen to please and help.

The villas are beautiful. Tastefully decorated and the staff were very helpful. I would stay again, highly recommend Tias Villas.
