Ok for an overnight stay. Location was good with lots of shop and restaurants around and staff kind and helpful. Only downside was our room smelled strongly of cigarettes.

Chaiya Palace made me feel like a king !
From the moment I arrived to when I departed, every staff had been amazing. I booked the Chaiya Suite and it's the best bang for your buck. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable, a/c was good to help you beat the Cambodian heat, the balcony was small but enough space for me to enjoy. Do not skip on the buffet breakfast. Then hotel is also just accross from Wat Botum Park and a 15 minute walk to the Royal Palace. While staying, make sure to check out the rooftop to get a 360 degree view of Phnom Penh. The restaurant also had great food, ordered pasta on my first night and it was delicious.
Chaiya Palace is a great choice.
