The only positive really was clean soft white towels and checking out !
Negatives..
Threadbare carpet
Bed had a huge dip in middle
Hot tap on the bath was scolding hot which couldn’t be touched without a cloth, the shower head was blocked with lime scale so the shower was very poor so didn’t even attempt to wash my hair
Net curtain pole was too short to fit on the hooks so was just balancing on the middle one so kept falling down.
The flush on the toilet wasn’t connected so I fixed that myself
Our room was only about 100 meters from the busy A1 road so traffic braking for the roundabout could be heard all the the night as we had to have the window open slightly as it was a very warm evening
I now wished I’d paid double to stay at the Premier Inn.
overnight stop room very comfortable sorry about restaurant
limited menu
bathroom floor creaked everytime you used it
but very quite at night

Disliked: Amenities
It was in a convenient location as we were attending an event nearby . The room was adequate . Curtains hanging off the rail . Bathroom tired needs refurbishing . No toilet roll . Bed was fine slept well which is all we required . Bar wasn’t open all weekend due to lack of staff we were told . Didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment on that . If you want a basic clean room this is ok .

Basic.
Basic hotel in need of a proper refurb, tiny bar that never had any beer, showers need power , nice breakfast staff in the main helpful.
Good that meals are available on the premises, but seemed to be rather short staffed. Due to longish wait for meals, were told our drinks would be complementary, but were still charged at checkout. I paid for breakfasts on check in, but were nearly charged for them again on checkout. I paid by cash on checkout. no receipts were offered.

We only paid approx.£35 for this room and it was really a base for us to sleep after attending a festival locally. The room was warm, the bed clean and comfortable and we had a bathroom. You wouldn’t stay here for a romantic trip away but was adequate for our needs. We will stay here again.

Located right next to busy A1 Trunk Road so traffic noise spoilt a good nights sleep. I asked for a quiet room but my bedroom was facing the A1 (Estimated 20 to 30 Mts away) They could have located me on the other side of the property which would have shielded me from the traffic noise to some extent.
Aesthetically not on the same level as Premier Lodge / Holiday Inn Express, but the room was clean and the full English breakfast was surprisingly nice
Plus points - Large Car Park and good value
Negative - Traffic Noise
This place is in desperate need of updating. The bathroom wasn’t very clean the whole place is drab.

OK, room wasn’t the best I’ve ever stayed in, in regards cleanliness etc.
WiFi didn’t work, couldn’t even log in to it and some reason I’d already been checked in before arrival.
Bed was comfy tho and slept OK despite heat and A1 outside the window.
Price reflected the room, I wouldn’t want to stay here for a week or something like that, but it suited my needs
More “oh my days” we booked the room and got a relatively cheep rate so we were not expecting luxury - however they advertise refurbished rooms, we clearly didn’t get one of those. Room was extremely dated, bed linen & curtains had holes in. Room smelt awful/musty, shower didn’t work properly and tea/coffee making equipment were covered in dust.
Won’t be rushing back or recommending this one!
The staff really made a difference. They went out of their way to help us. Although on a main road the double glazing kept the noise right out.

Decoration was extremely tired. The room and bathroom had clearly had new fixtures and fittings recently, but no effort was made to decorate first or to repair walls where the new fittings were a different size and shape to the old. Similar in the bathroom, where new surface has been installed into which a small modern sink has been set, but turn around and you have a 30 year old bath complete with patches of paint in it (?) and some 10 layers of the messiest sealant that hasn’t been replaced for 20 years.
Other than that the room was large but unbelievably hot and muggy, even though it was not a hot and muggy day. No air conditioning but a 1970’s fan was provided which you will need as you can’t open the windows far (even in the ground floor) not to mention the constant traffic.
This hotel was convenient to both Duxford and Old Warden Aerodromes and as pilots and aviation enthusiasts this was the goal. We found the stay very pleasant, with good service and clean facilities. Recommended.

Days Inn Review
Arrived 8 ish, check in was swift. Room was clean, bed clean and comfortable. Shower - water pressure very low but usable. Would definitely use again as situation was ideal for us. Very good price.
Reception staff helpful. Room clean and it made a good base for a few days to go to local attractions.

Good Location,great service.Hotel bit weathered
The hotel is a bit weathered ,however the staff were very helpful, friendly and made me feel welcome, free WIfi ,the food was great, the room was made up each day,bed comfortable, and despite the A1 road closeby I didn't find it a problem with noise, when the window was shut, the fan in the room was very helpful. The only downside was that the shower wasn't great, also cold water tap in the sink was almost at a dribble, did report but still the same three days later. But I would stay again, very useful location next to the A1 so you can get around .
