There was blood on a pillow, lipstick on the blanket. Just run down old hotel...cheap though guess you get what you pay for. No bed bugs at least ☺

Good Place to Stay for the Price
Hotel is being remodeled. It is an older Facility so does need work. Bathroom had been updated and the Bed was new(er) with comfortable Mattress and good Sheets and Blankets. Room was Clean when I checked in and was cleaned every day while I was there. I will stay again if I come back through the area.

Not fancy but functional and good value
Staff was helpful and friendly even when checking in very late. Breakfast is basic but coffee is good.

It was nasty didn't even stay the night burn holes in the blankets and dead bugs on the floor asked for a new room once then left will not go back!!!

You get what you pay for
It was peak season so I was lucky to get a room at all. I wasn't expecting anything great for what I paid and I wasn't disappointed. The only disappointment was they advertised a pool and it was drained when we got there. The beds are a little hard.

This hotel does not deserve even a 1. The pool is filled with green scum, the first room they tried to put us in had blood all over the matress. I think the staff actually live there. Did not feel safe at all. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

way too much money for the hotel!
the hotel was dirty,holes in walls,smelly. I have never slept anywhere this bad. at 7am there was hardly anything available for breakfast.

Low price, no issues.
It needs updated but the sheets, pillows and standard size mattresses were in great shape, clean, and comfortable. Everything was clean and had no bad smells anywhere, and was the best I could locate for the price. The lady at the desk gave me some breakfast items for my crew, which was nice. I did not see wifi advertised but they had it. Microwave available in hall. Denny's is in the parking lot, and Kroger's is very close too. The smell of corn fields on the way was a treat for our visit to Cedarpoint.

I needed a bed and shower for fishing trip.
Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean, and towels were clean and soft. Bedside lamps were burnt out.!No bedside radio to set an alarm! The door on the refrigerator fell off onto the floor when I opened it!

2nd worst hotel I've ever spent $89 / night for! No improvements in years.. musty, stinky, nasty conditions. .lamps didn't work. Toilet was dirty.. carpet was disgusting. . Never felt clean / comfortable in the 9 hours we were there.. Don't stay here!

Good for a short stopover only.
Great location as it is close to the highway. Property is somewhat run-down and could use some sprucing up. Staff are merely adeqaute - did not seem to want to go the extra mile.

This was an average hotel. It is definitely outdated but not near as bad as most of the places I stay. I would say it has good value for the money.

Drive through Denny's parking lot to get there.
For the price the room was ok. Hallways warm. Even though the room had an exterior door, unless you left it open you couldn't use your card to get in it or the end of hall exterior doors had to enter through single front entrance. Needs refurbishing. Hotel staff not visible.

Very disappointed! not worth the money.
We had asked some friends to go charter fishing on lake Erie in Ohio, So we got 2 rooms they were suppose to be single queen beds for each room and it was two full size beds in each or 2 very small queens. The top locks on both doors were broke off and you could barely lock bottom lock. Both rooms had a bad odor and when I pulled the comforter down I found black hair on the sheets. Our friends plugged their phone chargers in their room plugs and they never charged. Our tv was ok but our friends had a cheap old tv. The beds were like sleeping on rocks. and when we got up to get free coffee at 6 am there was none. I will never stay at another travel lodge again. Free breakfeast my butt!

Everything was very clean we had a smoking room and it smelt very fresh only thing that wasn't up to excellent rating was the water pressure was very low in shower only gave us one pillow and the weird smell in the lobby other than that it was excellent

Not worth what we paid for.
The manager was not friendly. We were told there was a pool and free breakfast. The pool was not usable. The breakfast was lacking. The motel had a horrible smell.

Middle of nowhere, very run down, stairs like they're going up into the attic. Many of the plugs weren't working. If you're looking to stay a night for dirt cheap, this isn't a bad place. I'd spend an extra few $ and upgrade.

Upon arrival the lobby smelled and looked clean. But after u enter. The hotel where the rooms are smelled like smoke carpets were very worn pop machine didn't work breakfast was very minimal supplied.....

Should of spent the weekend in my car!
This hotel is way over due for a remodel. It smells like mildew. No hot water pressure. Stains on pillows and sheets. Rotten food in room refrigerator. If you need anything from the 3rd shift staff forget it and be prepared for a short rude response. This is the worse hotel/lodge that I have ever been to.

Not very good at all
Walked in no one at the desk, ant in the bathtub, poor paint jobs in both rooms we rented. Continental breakfast from 6:00am 9:00am, got down there at 7:00am only had one helping of biscuits and gravy fruit bread and bagels all that was left was cold cereal and the one helping of biscuit and gravy was cold. So very bad experience.

Wish I had been at the Holiday Inn
The room we had was non-smoking but in order to get to it you had to go down a dingy hallway that reeked of smoke. The stairway was awful. The receptionist failed to tell us that none of the outside doors were accessible with our key. If I hadn't already paid for it I would have gone somewhere else.

Good for passing by - rest stop for one night before continuing your journey. Bare minimum but clean. Dennis next to it makes it convienient. Good value for the money

Ok for a cheap night's stay
This hotel, while cheap on the wallet, is really only good for a cheap night's stay and move on. The carpets in sad shape and the entire hotel smells of stale cigarette smoke and air freshener. The cable was good but the bed was lumpy. The free breakfast was almost non existent.

This is an older hotel, with a curious layout. You had to enter through the main door at the office, then go down an indoor corridor. There was a door to the outside, in the room, but you could not open it. I was told to park my car outside of the door to my room. I then had to schlep my stuff through the office and down the interior corridor. The door at the end of the hall would have been more convnient, but it could not be accessed with the room key. The interior hall was a tad shabby, but the room was clean.

Not a bad hotel, and is one of the more affordable hotels in this area. Could use with some updating, however the bed was comfortable and room was clean. I had to ring a bell when I got there and when I checked out. I believe the owners live on site in a room behind the front desk, since she came out in her pajamas, looking very sleepy, when I checked out early in the morning. Personally, this doesn't bother me, but some might not like that. Also, the "outdoor pool" is not maintained and had no water in it. Overall, this hotel met my needs, and I would stay again
