  • Luxury awaits you in the heart of downtown and within walking distance to all area restaurants, coffee shops and watering holes. Just 2 blocks to the heart of downtown and 3 blocks from Lake Erie. Walk to parks, Put-In-Bay and Kelly's Island Ferry, Outdoor Splash Pad, 3 playgrounds and much more!

    You won't find a property like this anywhere in Sandusky! Read the reviews, guests say the pictures don't do this home justice. This is a 9,000 sq ft. single-family mansion with 14 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 3 living rooms, chef's kitchen, a theater room with 20 individual leather theater chairs, game room (pool table, Xbox one, and stocked game cabinet).

    2 Full Baths and 1 half bath.

    Chef's Kitchen:

    Kitchen has granite countertops, and a commercial stove with 6 burners, and a griddle. There is also a commercial double oven for any baking needs you may have and an Extra Large refrigerator/freezer. Enjoy your cooking while your family and friends enjoy seating at the extra long island. The icing on the cake is there is not one, but two dishwashers to help with your clean-up and get you back to relaxing and having fun.

    (There is NO ELEVATOR).

    Second Floor:
    9 bedrooms: 5 King bedrooms, 1 Queen Bedroom, 3 bunk rooms. (Total single XLs in the three bunkrooms = 11)

    2 Livings rooms

    1 game room with pool table, pinball machine, poker table, and candy counter

    3 full bathrooms.

    All bedrooms have automatic blackout blinds so you can sleep in late or rise early with the sun.

    Additional Information and fees:

    Early Arrivals/Late Check-outs:
    We charge $75 per hour for early arrivals and late check-outs. We are happy to accommodate your arrival and departure times when we are able to do so. Please let us know if you'd like to arrive earlier than 4 pm EST or depart later than 10am EST.

    Gatherings larger than 50 people:
    We've had many weddings and other celebrations held at our property. There is an additional charge of $750 to host gatherings larger than 50 people. That fee includes the use of 80 white folding wedding chairs, six (9 ft) rectangular dining tables, (3) cocktail tables, (8) 60" round tables and table coverings for all tables. You can also use the candelabras to set the stage for elegance. Please inquire for more information.

Words will never be able to convey how absolutely gorgeous this place is! We walked in and our jaws dropped! Not only was it absolutely stunning, but it was pristine and clean. This place well surpassed our expectations. It was fully stocked and comfortably accommodated our group of 26 ladies. The owner is absolutely precious and she made herself well available for any of our needs.

We have yearly family reunions, several families attend from all over the world. Great large group venue

Wonderful property for large gatherings. We had a family reunion and the house was perfect. The kitchen and living area was great for a large gathering and the bedrooms are spaced out as to have your own wing or section per family. We really enjoyed watching movies in the theatre at night. Fully equipped with all kitchen needs and only a few blocks to the waterfront. Highly recommend.

Outstanding venue for family gatherings!

This was by far the best experience we have had renting a home. We celebrated a milestone birthday with our family-12 adults and 5 children ages 3-15. The home was great for all ages. The movie theater and game room were loved by all. I loved the kitchen-the home is very well equipped with everything needed to make gourmet meals. The host is very easy to communicate with and very responsive. The location is ideal-close to the downtown and very safe and walkable. The house truly is a mansion with every amenity imaginable. And it was spotless! Thank you!

This place is even more amazing than the photos depict! If I could, I would give it 6 stars or rate it 11/10! The hosts are the best I’ve ever encountered - quick responses and they were so generous in getting us some things to make our family celebration more special (votive candles / holders and mason jars to use for flowers). The location is great too! So walkable to everything. We only wish we could have stayed longer. But hope to return again someday for another family event.

The best weekend!

The perfect and unique house for any celebration. Around every corner is a surprise. It was so clean and organized. It is stocked with everything you could ever want. The kitchen is a chefs dream and the long kitchen island was the hub of activity for our weekend. The back yard was a perfect place to relax and regroup after exploring the Sandusky area. Mary was an ideal host. She answered any and all questions within minutes leading up to the trip. All I can say is book this house as soon as you can. It is worth it!

Bach Party Weekend

I can’t even begin to say how perfect this house was for a big group, it had absolutely everything we needed in such a good location. Everyone was so impressed I came home and I can’t stop talking about how big this place is. The kitchen is perfect along with the table allowing everyone to eat comfortably. Check in and check out was easy and the host was very easy to communicate with. Highly highly highly recommend.

Perfect In Every Way

Blown away from the moment we walked in the door. From the floors, chandeliers, lighting and finishes, to the luxurious towels, rugs, bed linens and pillows. Not to mention the solar powered black out curtains in every room! If you like a firm bed this is the place for you. Pure heaven. The kitchen and pantry are stocked to the hilt. The game room and stocked candy bar did not disappoint and the theaters’ sound system was banging. I’m sure our late night karaoke sesh was heard by all both near and far. We were also pleasantly surprised by the outdoor space and fire pit in the back and the beautiful front porch with fire table. We would definitely stay here again and again…highly recommend!

We found this Sandusky property and by description, pictures and location thought it would be a good fit – turns out it was a GREAT fit! We had the chance to meet our Host when we arrived and were given a tour of the property. Suffice it to say, the VRBO pictures were good, but reality was better! There are not adequate words to describe how amazing this space is! Pictures don’t do it justice! Kitchen was incredibly stocked, and countless, thoughtful touches throughout. More than enough room for 32 of us to celebrate my parents 65th wedding anniversary. We showed home movies in the theatre, played games and room to eat all together…Spent the weekend and only left the property to go for a walk. To say Chris was great to work with would be an understatement. He was so kind and helpful. If you are considering this property don’t hesitate for a second!!!

Above and Beyond Experience

I truly cannot say enough good things about this house and Mary and her husband. This house could not be more perfect. All of the little details and care that Mary and her husband put into this home is remarkable. It felt cleaner than a hotel and the layout was fantastic. Our AAU travel basketball team stayed here while in town for a tournament, and we all could not get over how amazing of a stay it was. This place is the perfect getaway with the town being so fun, the lake being so close, and of course Cedar Point being just down the road. We loved this place so much that we are already planning next year’s stay. If you have anything with a large number (or honestly even a small number) of people, 100000% choose this place over a hotel. Mary and her husband were so considerate with even the amenities and supplies left for use. If you stay here though, please treat it with the respect and love it deserves. We could not have asked for a more amazing place to stay for my cousin’s 60th birthday! Our family enjoyed every second in this spacious location… that had ALL the amenities and so many fun and interesting “finds” throughout the home. This property was amazing!!! The amenities were fantastic - truly anything you can imagine needing was provided. The rooms were comfortable and there was plenty of space for my group.
