About this property

Self catering flat, parking, 4 min walk beach, 3 min shops. Car ferry discount.

  • Small ground floor self contained flat ideal for a couple or couple and 2 children. (not a party pad, no smoking anywhere on the premises please) This apartment consists of two 12’x12’ rooms and an ensuite shower room. There is a twin sofa bed (2 side by side singles, ideal for siblings) please do not let children operate this. Consider how much space you will need before booking. All bedding and towels provided including seperate beach towels. Near to Sandown Beach and Pier. Bus stop approx 50 meters away. Private entrance at the back of the house with patio garden and garden furniture. Furniture cushions are not waterproof. If used, please put cushions in the box at night and the cover back on the parasol. (Sea mist and sea gulls are not a good combination!) The patio garden is shared with a family member who lives in the flat over my kitchen, he is mostly out at work) Parking provided. Kitchenette/lounge with full size oven/grill, large microwave, 2 ring hob, toaster and kettle, fridge with small freezer compartment, washer/dryer and twin sofa bed. Central heating. Starter pack provided inc tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, bread, jams & marmite, cereal, milk and condiments. (Gluten free and Vegan cereal and gluten free biscuits available, please ask in advance.). Discounted car ferry booking service available, at least 25% off standard car rates with Wightlink, less discount with Red Funnel. Please arrange this well in advance of your sailing as discounted rates are limited and subject to availability. Please also note that the current government has added a £3 tax per return journey to ferry transport to the IOW. Car reg and make needed. No smoking, vaping or candles anywhere at this property please. The alarm system is for carbon monoxide as well as fire/smoke. If booking through Expedia, please download the Vrbo app for ease of communication with the host. Please check in by 7pm. Please note that the owner lives in the main part of the house.

Lovely little flat, clean and modern and close to everything. Bread and milk provided on arrival as well as plentiful supply of tea, coffee, biscuits, cereals and jams. Host was lovely and showed us around everything. Easy check in and out and great communication.

The apartment was excellent. everything you needed for a self catering break. Tv in the bedroom and lounge, lovely shower and comfortable bed. Suntrap patio and only a 5 min walk to the beach. My first visit to the Isle of Wight

Communication with the accomodation manager was excellent from the time of booking up to the end and was very helpful when we experienced some hiccups with our trip, the house was very clean with classy furniture and very quiet environment, I highly recommend this accomodation to aspiring visitors ,it was very suitable for me,my husband and our 7 year old boy.

Ally was really welcoming giving us a full guided tour of the flat that was really nice and well stocked with breakfast food. Flat really modern and has own private entrance. Yet again second time stayed here and it was absolutely amazing had all the facilities that’ we needed everything was astonishingly tidy and clean. Couldn’t fault our stay. A piece of paradise

This little apartment is a jewel in the crown of self-catering properties! Spotlessly clean, comfortable, exceptionally well-equipped (Ally really has thought of everything) and an easy few minutes’ walk from Sandown town shops and the beach. Ally is the perfect hostess: on hand if needed, yet not intrusive. We had a fabulous holiday, thank you, and would love to return.

Alley the host was more than accommodating when we arrived early. Accommodation although small was perfect for us and everything had been thought of to make our stay everything we wanted it to be. Fantastic location and we managed to fit so much into our 4 days. Osborne house, Needles, Steam railway, Godshill and Carisbrooke Castle are a must. Will definitely be returning. It's a small world

flat all ready and stocked with the food and drink we needed. She contacted me before the trip just to check what kind of essentials (milk, bread etc) we would need and had those already in the house when we arrived which was a lovely touch. Ally The location of the flat is perfect for walking down to the coast and experiencing the lovely sandy beach and Sandown Pier which are only a few minutes walk away. There is always a good buzz around the beach area, we found there was lots to do there to enjoy a fun day with kids. The local shops are also just a couple of minutes walk away, a mix of small businesses and larger supermarkets. There is something for everyone around there.

Perfect short stay!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property. The flat was well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing short break. The property was spotless and well-maintained. The kitchen was fully stocked and we welcomed the added extras. The living area was compact yet efficiently designed. The beds were also very comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. The location was ideal, close to the beach with easy access to local restaurants and shops. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The small touches such as beach gear, games, takeaway containers was a nice touch. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a base to explore the Isle of Wight!
