10/10 Excellent

"We had a one night stay before transfer to our time share. I was impressed with the property. I believe it is an older property but i see they do keep it up in remodel and maintenance. We took a chance to see if our room is ready in advance of check-in and it was. The bed was comfortable and the sheets felt good. Also just a short walk to Ala Moana Mall which is convenient. They even have parking for oversize vehicles. I would recommend for anyone to stay there."

"The hotel is steeped in history and character and the ambience makes for a relaxing stay. The location is perfect. It manages to combine the convenience of being right in the heart of Waikiki with the tranquility of a secluded hotel. But for a hotel that charges a premium I expect everything in the hotel to be to a high standard. Two things that stopped us from giving the hotel 5 stars were the inadequate gym amenity (small and dated equipment), and the fact that you are then charged to use their beach umbrellas. That was a disappointment. Overall though, it was a great experience to stay at this hotel."
