Rooms are clean, grounds are nice, staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is just a bit dated.

The rooms were high tech. Electronic drapes, shower control, do not disturb, thermostat, etc. Bidet was nice. Room was clean, but there was some debris under the bed. Hotel is nice, but not spacious. Like there's no large space to hang out and the lobby is small. Elevator is dark, and you need your room key to make it move. It's hard to see the floor numbers in the dim light and quite often before we could press the right number the elevator was already going somewhere else. Some of the staff were a bit unprofessional, but not in a rude way. The breakfast room was nice, but the free breakfast had almost zero variety over our six night stay. The quality of what they served was good though. All in all I would stay there again.

Our stay was wonderful. Our only issue or rather we would like to see changed. Is that the restaurants the cocktail bars they’re not open until 4 PM

We loved learning about the historical significance of this property. The architectural team did a great job of restoring it and envisioning it as a hotel. Our room was spacious with high ceilings. The staff was helpful. My only suggestion would to have bottled water in the rooms for guests.

The room could have been cleaner. We found random hairs from previous guests all over the place. The pull out bed did not have bedding. None was present in the room, either. When we asked to get some, the staff gave us a hard time about it. There was a damaged exterior door in need of repair as well. There was not enough room to comfortably fit all the guests who wanted to eat during breakfast. This hotel will get you by in a pinch, but I would not seek it out.
