Beautiful beyond words-10+
What a fabulous hotel-mere words cannot describe the beauty and elegance of this hotel and property! One of the best hotels I have stayed in. The staff are exemplary and incredibly professional. The hotel and property is filled with history and charm-stunning! I would gladly travel back to this area just to experience this hotel again!

Wonderful service
A great hotel with exceptional service. My only complaint would be the paper thin walls in some of the rooms which meant I was kept awake by the guest next door watching tv at 3am.

Rural, quiet, historic Vila in countryside
Great service. Great food. Amazing location with loads of history. Alessandro have us a tour of the Bill and made us feel at home. Wifi was a bit spotty, but otherwise we loved our stay.

Quick Visit - perfect property
Marvelous stay at a wonderful property with great service and very professional staff. Rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. The dining room is very special.

Loved the night spent there. Villa Tacchi was set in beautiful grounds and it was lovely and quiet and we really enjoyed the marvellous food and service in the restaurant.

Nice historical kind of hotel
I was there on business, so I didn't have the opportunity to just relax and enjoy the hotel much. But, still, being in a historical structure with good staff, but not so stuffy nor pretentious, was still relaxing experience compared to a "normal" business hotel.

Perfect place away from home
Great place to call it home if you stay more than 3 days. Really nice hotel with great staff. I love the room and just the architecture of the building. Love the place and will always return there whenever I travel around Vicenza.

Great ...but the check out is a NO NO!
A great old Villa in the middle of the countryside. Everything was perfect ...from the breakfast, to the service at the bar. Adequate prices . Highly suggested for a couple gateway. Haven't tried the restaurant. ...the downside is the queue for the check out ...almost an hour, with just one employee. Everybody was complaining, but nothing has been done ..i have been told that that's how it is ...so i asked -at least- to report the message to the management.

Will Stay Here Again
Stayed here during a business trip with 2 other colleagues. Our business was in the city of Vicenza. It was a very easy drive back and forth. We were able to avoid all the toll roads with ease. The location was great if you want to travel the northeast side of Italy. Italian pottery factories in Nove was a 15 minute drive, Bassano del Grappa was about 20-25 minutes north, Verona was about 45 minutes west, Venice was a very short and direct train ride to the east, etc. The staff at the hotel was very professional. They pointed us to some great restaurants in the area. The hotel has great sitting areas where you can relax, talk, and enjoy some wine. The grounds of the hotel were very historic and beautiful. There is a pool, however, it was covered because of winter.

Live like a wealthy Italian royal for a day..
We stayed here for business during the winter off-season and were highly impressed with the service, the estate and the rooms. It felt like you were in a 17th century mansion. The breakfast and mattresses left a little to be desired, but overall an interesting and worthwhile stay.

Wonderful place!
Hotel Villa Tacchi is fantastic! Wonderful staff, beautiful setting, close to so many things. Pool is amazing. The air conditioning takes a bit to get going, but we slept with the windows open and a nice breeze. We will definitely be back. We loved it

Quiet Hotel
Wonderful hotel tuck away in beautiful countryside. If you want to get away from hustle of the city, this is the hotel for you. Great local restaurants nearby. Only downfall, some rooms hot, A/C unit operates poorly. My room was hot, my friends room was cold.

I'll use it again
This is a beautiful old building on the outskirts of Vicenza. The location is a bit out of the way but it is a great compound with an onsite restruant. Breakfast was good and the staff spoke english well enough. This was an older room but the furniture was hardwood and beautiful, not just "old". I would stay here again without hesitation. This is a European hotel so ensure you expectations are on par. There was a refrigerator and small safe in the room, the shower was small, and the room had hardwood floors.

Beautiful Villa, in Beautiful Surounds
Hotel Villa Tacchi is a destination in itself. The grounds of the Villa are kept very nicely, and it has a fantastic pool. The Villa is stunning, with a lot of history. You can do a tour of the attached Chrurch and Ice Room with a staff member. Breakfast was good, but not terrific. Rooms were really nice, and the view from our window was terrific.

An oasis of peace and tranquility
We stayed 9 days at Villa Tacchi and we had lovely experience. It is conveniently located near beautiful medieval towns and Palladian villas but a car is a must. Staff are professional and pleasant. The villa is located in it's own park and the grounds are beautiful. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good and plentiful, supper was delicious. A great place to spend a few restful days.

Excellent hotel but too far from the city
We planned to visit Venice but due to the high room tariffs in the main Venice city we opted for this hotel as we believed it was on the outskirts of Venice. We hastily made the bookings online but actually it turned out to be some 70 km from the Venice city. But we managed as we had our own car. We reached the hotel in the night and we had a comfortable sleep. The hotel was in its full glory in the morning as the sun was shining bright and we got our money's worth.

Everything was great, the outside looked a little tired compare to picture, but the room was excellent, the staff great, and room was outstanding, so was the restaurant. Very very good, only a few minutews from main road. Parking was very spacious.

The Hotel Villa Tacchi is tucked away in a small town about 10 minutes east of Vicenza and is an excellent getaway location. The staff was superb and extremely pleasant and helpful. Don't miss dinner on the nights that the restaurant is open. In my 10 day stay, I had dinner at the hotel 3 times and all 3 were delicious and reasonably priced. There is a pool available which is a nice place to relax at the end of the day. Only slight drawbacks are that the restaurant didn't seem to have a set operating schedule and the floors could use a vacuuming in the room. Other than those two minor issues, everything was great. Highly recommended.

The hotel building and gardens are rather grand which probably increases one's expectations of service unreasonably.It was extremely quiet when we arrived and only one member of staff in evidence.She was polite and helpful if not fully up to speed with what was happening at the hotel (ie: we asked if we could use the pool and she was not sure if it was being cleaned or not). The room was small and dark but clean-ish (shower not so) but functional. The hotel has tremendous atmosphere and history and is probably better suited to a large event (wedding or conference) than a short stop-over. Overall though a pleasant enough place to stay and reasonable value for money.

I enjoyed my stay here very much. I was completely satisfied with all amenities with one exception. An on premise restaurant was advertised, however it was not open during my stay. If I had a vehicle, this would not be a problem, however, it is a 20 minute walk to any restaurant. The Villa was beautiful, the staff beyond amazing, very helpful. Rooms were clean, beautiful, and wonderful view.

Honeymoon Hideaway was Heaven
My new husband and I had embarked on a driving tour of Europe and ended up in North Eastern Italy. We were looking for somewhere secluded as we had our car, and also picturesque. Villa Tacchi was perfect for our needs. The gravel drive up to the hotel frames it beautifully, the building itself looking sparkling. The air conditioned reception was a blessing during the most intense heat I have experienced. Our room was beautiful, with dark wood furniture and a strong shower. There was also a lovely pool area that was great to relax by during the day and up to quite late at night. There is a restaurant, but it has a fixed menu with many courses and we were honestly too hot to eat that much food! Most of the staff were friendly, however some consider a vodka with coke a complicated drink, this has formed one of our main tales of the trip. Breakfast had all the staples, bread, meat and cheese and plenty of fresh fruit. The is so much to explore around Villalta, we would recommend visiting the local towns for food, in Gazzo there is a spectaular pizzeria, and the staff were very patient with my attempts at Italian! I would say if you are going to stay in this hotel and you want to explore you will need a car, we had day trips to Soave, Marinello and Venice all within a lovely driving distance with gorgeous scenery the whole way. We felt we got a bargain for how beautiful and peaceful the hotel was, and we would definately visit again!

My husband and I went to Vicenza to visit my son who is based there in the Army. He and his wife and our first grandchild live off base in Grossa. Villa Tacchi is within 3 or 4 miles from their home. It is in the country and has a beautiful setting with a garden, a pond with ducks, swans and geese, and an old church attached to the hotel. They have a complimentary breakfast with cheese, some meats, and pastries. There is a restaurant at the hotel but is open only for dinner. We did not eat there as we spent time with our son at his home or at a restaurant in Vicenza. The hotel has shutters that you can open at night to get cool air. They do not have the air conditioning or heating turned on in the fall seasons. We felt safe doing this since we were on the 3rd floor which is where most of the rooms are and it was in the country with not a lot of traffic. Since we were visiting in October, we had nice cool breezes coming into the room. However, the breezes did blow some leaves into the room. If you do not have family nearby, it would be advisable to rent a car to see the sites as Vicenza is a few miles away. The rooms were clean, large and had antique furniture. The maids did not appear to speak English, but were very efficient. The people at the hotel desk were very friendly. We plan to stay at Villa Tacchi again. On some days you could smell cows, but then again, it's in the country.

Not the best hotel I have stayed in, but certainly not the worst. Hotel was full of character, but I found the staffing level was not appropriate for the number of guests, both in terms of getting a drink from the bar, and dinner service in the evening. Food was very good however, and generous portions. Claims to have a pool, which of course it does, but then signs claim the pool is not for swimming in which was disappointing.

Hvad enten man er 'på vej' og mangler et sted at overnatte eller søger et sted, hvor man kan slappe af nogle dage, er Villa Tacchi et godt bud. Skønt hotel i meget rolige og landlige omgivelser med lækker pool og hjælpsomt personale. Værelserne var fine og i god stand, og morgenmaden var rigtig lækker, og der var meget at vælge mellem. Jeg kan varmt anbefale at spise på hotellet om aftenen; deres restaurant er bestemt et besøg værd. Der er mange fristende retter på menuen, og det er ikke nemt at vælge ;-)
