Paolo and his family were wonderful hosts. Mateo made sure our parking location was ok and took our bags from parking area to hotel.

La Chiusa is beautiful, staff are very nice and the location fantastic; views from the property and situated next to Montifollonico with access to grocery store, pharmacy and super local restaurant (13 Gobbi). Rooms had a fridge but no kettle, coffee maker or even cups or glasses which was odd and would make a big positive difference so that you can make a hot drink or sip your own wine while enjoying the view!
If you’re a foodie you will love the onsite restaurant, but it is a limited menu so a couple of visits will get you through it, but there is so much within sprucing distance you’ll want to get out anyway - so hire a car.

The hotel facility was modern and clean. The location was also good. The staff and breakfast were excellent.
Most hotels are on the the hill and highly recommend taking taxi to get to the hotel.
