When we first pulled up we were a little meh about it but the room was amazing, perfect view of the ocean, plenty of space, a working fireplace IN the room, comfy bed, bonfires around the property, plenty of benches and chairs to sit and watch the ocean, lots of places to walk and the staff was amazing. Pool was heated and the jacuzzi was wonderful. Gretchen at the restaurant was so sweet every time we went to breakfast...

"This hotel has lovely rooms with a very nice bathroom including soaker tub and separate shower. There is a gas fireplace. The linens and bed were good quality. You can hear the ocean and have a limited view of it. Breakfast was well stocked. There are interesting g prints of Julia Morgan’s sketches for the Hearst Castle throughout the building. "
