"We booked this reservation just a couple of days ahead of getting there and the place couldn’t be a more welcoming and pleasant place to stay. Buddy, the owner, really went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The room was clean, bed and pillows very comfortable, and the restroom/shower area, super clean and well kept. Although we didn’t get to use it, they have an indoor pool with a homey atmosphere, including tables and chairs, and a TV in the dining area. It is a motel reminiscent of the 50s and 60s with it’s decor. Like stepping into a movie with James Dean. Just across the highway/street, access to beachfront space where you can find rocks and driftwood and calming sounds of the ocean as the waves lap onto the shore. Also don’t miss the night sky full of stars! We will definitely be returning here in the near future and next time for more than one night."

"The room is big, clean and looks new. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices, like waffles, hot and cold cereals, eggs filled with cheese, bacon and potatoes and many more. The hotel is walking distance to the beach, restaurants and short drive to Hearst Castle, Cambria and Moonstone beach. We will definitely stay here again."
