What a beautiful lodge. Well maintained, great hiking trail and staffs were all helpful. The drive at night was a big scary, due to the narrow and twisty roads, along with rain and fog. Best to drive up before dark .

This was the most perfect hotel we’ve ever stayed at. From the service, to the property itself, to the food, everything was perfect and so methodically thought out. We had an ATV tour one day and came back with muddy boots and they cleaned them for us for free without us asking. In that moment I knew we were coming back to this same hotel every time we visit Costa Rica, can’t wait to come back to see the completed expansion in 2028. Also really appreciated the hotel guide on property to show us wildlife, we got to see a sloth from his telescope in the restaurant one morning!
