It is a little farther from city center so plan accordingly, Carlos was so gracious to pick us up, but it was also easy to ask for a local number to get taxi. It is a large compound with comfortable rooms, friendly staff, large common spaces, large shared kitchen/dining facility, pool and game room. What an incredible place to stay! If you have a car in Atacama, this is just perfect ! We stayed with our family and enjoyed the apartment and facilities dearly . The apartment was comfortable and perfect. It had everything we needed to cook, dine, lounge, and enjoy ourselves. My kids loved the pool , trampoline , fusball table , ping pong , hammocks and the board games . Most of all the warmth of the owner Juan Carlos. We will sincerely miss him . You couldn’t ask for a more caring and hospitable man . The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the grounds well-kept and inviting. The location is quiet with terrific night-sky views. There’s a pool if you’d like to take a day off from seeing the Atacama. It’s gated and has parking. All-in-all, highly recommended. A few things to consider — you need a car to stay here. It’s in Coyo, which is a few miles outside of San Pedro de Atacama proper and there’s no public transport. Also, almost no English is spoken at the property.
