"On a very hot, humid day in September I walked into this air conditioned room with the slight scent of cleaning product. A large bed with a crisp white coverlet with fluffy pillows met me as I put my luggage on the leather luggage holder. The living room had a nice long couch, comfy chair, lamp and a coffee table. There was also a kitchen area with a refrigerator/freezer, sink, and two burner stove. There were pans and utensils for cooking, as well as a full set of dishes and silverware. A little basket under the microwave by the coffee pot filled with, coffee, tea and condiments. The bathroom is a good size stocked with towels hanging and more under the sink. The shower head was great, no bath tub. The check in was easy, as I arrived during a shift change and my check-in was seamless. I asked for a room near the parking lot as I had a lot to bring in. She quickly accommodated that request. My room rate through Expedia does not include the parking fee of $25 a night, the Inn charges. In bold letters, in writing it was given to me at check in, so I would not be surprised. I had a very relaxing 3 days."

"Great communication with the host! Though we experienced some plumbing issues, the host was quick to respond and sent sent someone out the same day. Major plus was that there was a wagon, chairs, and body boards for use at the beach! Also, neighbors were quite friendly."

"Many, many positives about staying there. Tahnee and Wes were great hosts, and responded quickly to every question. They were tremendously warm and eager to make our stay there a most pleasant one. The place itself was clean, extremely well-organized, esy to settle into, welcoming, and exactly as advertised. And everything worked! The location was a ten-minute or so ride from the heart of San Clemente, the shops and restaurants, the pier, and the most forgiving family beach (that is, with the best waves and sand for kids). At first it seemed further than we expected, but gradually 10 minutes seemed like nothing, and we began to like being away from the hubub. (If you're golfers, the location is perfect, as it's right on a course.) We were there with a 7 year-old and a 4 year-old, and at Tahnee's suggestion we rented a cart, and that essentially made their vacation. They could not get enough of the cart, and the ten minutes drive to town suddenly became a huge plus. I should add that anything really close to the beach would be much more expensive and crowded, and we really liked it. I think this is a great place to stay and recommend it very, very highly."

"Location was ideal, house was great size for what we needed. The AC did not blow cool air so the house was very warm. There was som black mold in one of the showers. We tried communicating with the host and never heard back regarding the AC and we tried asking for a late checkout but didn’t hear back until after the checkout time."

"This is an adorable place to stay in San Clemente near Trestles Beach. The place is clean and well appointed. Tons of gear is available for the beach. The communication is fantastic. Yes, it is close to the freeway but there is a huge wall between the place and the freeway, AND the windows and doors do a great job cutting the noise. My wife and I loved our stay here!!"
