Honestly some of the yummiest food was here! My husband loved the tacos and I thought the tuna tarte was delicious. The staff was great. Very welcoming and super accommodating. Their manager is awesome. This was a great stay

The hotel is very cute and all remodeled. Staff very super nice and helpful special thanks to Miguel .
Will stay here again.
The service, the staff, the food, and the architecture/design was all 10/10. It’s on a hill so it has great views of the city. Walking down is a very doable. Just take your time walking up. One of the best stays I’ve had.
We, myself and my wife, just completed a 4 night stay at Maison Mexique Hotel in San Miguel. We had a wonderful time and the hotel was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Not only did we have a beautiful room, the location of the hotel is a very short walk to the historic center of San Miguel. In other words, the location is great. Also, the breakfast we had each morning was always good and make sure you try the restaurant for lunch and/or dinner. In fact, the food served at the hotel was the equivalent or better than the "high end" restaurants we went to. Finally, the hotel staff (especially Miguel) were so kind, helpful and supportive, it made our stay even better.
We had an amazing experience at Maison Mexique. The staff and owners were incredibly kind, helpful and friendly. We loved our four nights there and would return in an instant.
Absolutely fabulous hotel! The staff was so attentive and helpful. The views from the terrace are amazing and the location is a convenient walk to anywhere in town. 10/10 recommend and would stay there again!
The hotel is lovely and located within walking distance of everything in the historic district! The best part of the hotel is the staff. Diana and Alejandra were especially helpful and so very kind.
Had a short but very pleasant stay. We spent one night at the hotel. The staff and service were outstanding. Accommodations were very nice. No complaints.
The room was dark and cold. The shower took 3-5 minutes to get warm water and it was very weak. The staff did all they could to help, but these were structural problems. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
I stayed for 3 nights its was wonderful. Alejandra and Diana were amazing. Check in was super fast and check out too. Valet parking was a plus for me, also they serve breakfast it was really good. Its a quiet area, but near everything. I would say that Diana and Alejandra made the difference in my stay there. They were always with an smile and ready to help in anything. Thanks Again i will stay there when i come back to San Miguel de Allende.
The property was very comfortable and clean. I had a great week-long stay. It is a boutique hotel without many amenities, but that is to be expected for the area. The hotel is walkable to all areas. The only aspect that was a bit uncomfortable is that the rooms are basically in front of the restaurant. Basically, you will have to walk by people that are eating to come in and out of your room. You can also hear the music and conversations from your bedroom. For this reason, I don't think I'd stay here again.

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, but had to deduct one because they didn’t have hot water on our last night and the water completely shut off for a few hours after that.
The staff is amazing, the breakfast is amazing, the location is amazing and the hotel overall is amazing. That was the only one issue they had, and I would totally give them another chance once all that is fixed!
It’s not a simple hotel, it’s home away from home. Everyone, from the owners to the staff is incredible. They will go above and beyond to help with anything and make you feel welcome.
A true gem, great location.
Rooms are modern, clean and stunning.
Chilaquiles for breakfast are first class.
We couldn’t be luckier to stay here TOP PLACE! also great for events!. We fall in love with it! and we are looking forward to staying there again…we will be back 100%😍🌟
Lovely hotel with several levels of decks to enjoy. Room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff there were extremely nice and really went out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The owners were available much of the time and offered good suggestions on restaurants and sites. Very convenient location too. My only suggestion would be to provide better lighting in the room as it was a little dark. Also a lighter blanket would be nice instead of just the heavy quilt which was kind of hot to sleep under even with the a/c turned all the way down. I would highly recommend this hotel if visiting SMDA.
Everything was very good, staff was really kind. Just one thing... it is noisy. Not sure if the hotel can do anything about it, but SMA has become an increasingly noisy city.

I was hesitant to leave this review because I did have a few issues that the hotel needs to address to become a top notch destination. First I want to acknowledge the personnel: they were awesome in every aspect! A special commendation to Miguel. He was amazing: friendly, thoughtful, helpful!
However, there were a few issues: the flow of our shower was tiny(yikes!) very little water to shower. Then the service to our room was a little raw. It seemed that the covers were put on top of the fitted sheets but they were never stretched. Also, I cut myself while shaving and accidentally stained a towel. We left it so that it could be replaced, but unfortunately it never was replaced. We had to ask to get a new set of towels. Perhaps these are not issues but I think guests will appreciate when service takes care of these details whiteout having to ask.
Thus property caught us by surprise. It is a lot better than we expected. It retains the colonial architecture down to the condition of the stairs and doors. It took me back to my grandma's place in the old country. The layout of the rooms is veey smart where no 2 guests can open their door and look or bump into each other. We stayed in room #9 and were beyond our imagination satisfied. It was veey roomy, comfortable and welcoming. Right outside our door and above are two terraces from you can see the city almost in its entirety. Though accessible to other patrons the location of this room makes it feel like the terrace was ours alone. The only down side is that the elevator was out of order on our check in day but that was nothing in comparison to the rest of our stay. The location of the hotel is in a busy area on a street heading out to Queretaro but by 9 or 10 p.m. all is quiet but you're in for a walk uphill when returning from where all the action is. But there are so many eateries and watering holes on the way that the walk does not matter at the end. The staff is amazing, Diana, Jimena and Miguel go above and beyond their duties to make sure our experience is a good one. The cook, the gardener and other unsung heroes were super polite and approachable. We traveled in May and the city was hot but its parks and sitting areas have so many trees you can take refuge before pushing forward. The market has everything, their eateries are excellent at very affordable prices.
