Villa Monica could not have been a better choice for us. The setting amidst beautifully maintained gardens and courtyards is one of tranquility and calm. The old world charm and flavor is truly historic. Worth noting is it's past and history, which only enhance ones stay here. Thank you to all the kind staff that we met. Gabriella, Jimena, Luz and Lulu. The gardener and the staff in the restaurant. If you need super modern amenities you may want to look elsewhere. But if you want beauty, calm and the ability to walk just about everywhere and discover something special along the way. This is the place.

A lovely place! The rooms have so much personality. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Breakfast in the courtyard is delicious and peaceful way to start your day in San Miguel.

The location is perfect and the hotel is beautiful, but what makes this hotel special is the staff, they are friendly and knowledgeable, if you need a reservation ask for Lulu, she got the best recommendations for dinner and breakfast.

Tranquil haven in the middle of San Miguel.

Beautiful clean room and peaceful and serene surroundings with helpful staff. We really enjoyed our breakfasts/lunch there each day and location was perfect opposite the beautiful park!

The hotel is beautiful - with lovely gardens and a courtyard. Our rooms were also lovely with cozy seating areas, fireplaces and large bathrooms. Breakfast was delicious as well. I cannot say enough about the service of the front desk, wait staff and cleaning people. They thoughtfully took care of all our requests - lighting fires in our room, dinner reservations, arranging drivers for day trips etc etc. we would highly recommend. The location is also perfect for a stay in San Migual de Allende.
