This was such a gem. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The property is gorgeous and well maintained. It is just far enough from the downtown core to feel like you're in a secluded paradise.

This hotel is a gem! I am so glad we decided to stay here for our couples trip. The property is just beautiful, dreamy, and well kept. They even have several peacocks that roam around the hotel and would visit us in the morning on our terrace. The entire staff is incredible and felt like family. When we left, I was very sad to leave them behind. They are courteous, hospitable, accommodating, fun, and kind. The location of the property is great. It’s quiet, across from a beautiful park, and an easy walk or drive to most places. The breakfast and drinks were delicious. We had a in room couples massage and it was perfection. There were some plumbing issues but they were quickly resolved. I highly recommend this wonderful place!

This is one of the most amazing places to stay. The rooms and grounds are beautiful. It must have been a hacienda when it was built hundreds of years ago. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The grounds are very well manicured and a person could spend lots of time just relaxing and enjoying the view.

Villa Santa Monica is impressive, the building, gardens are beautiful. We even had our private patio. Everything is clean and peaceful The location is excellent, just a few minutes from downtown You want to stay in a historic hotel this is it. The hotel is beautiful,very well maintained, with a lovely garden. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have a romantic atmosphere. The staff was kind and attentive throughout our stay. Unfortunately, after we left, we received a call from the front desk asking whether we had taken the bathrobes from the room. I was surprised, as there were no bathrobes in our room during our stay. I explained this to the person who called and mentioned that the same staff member who had walked us to our room upon arrival and helped us with our departure had shown us everything in the room, and there were definitely no robes. I asked her to look into the matter and clarify it. However, we never heard back. We followed up with another call to request confirmation that the issue had been resolved. The front desk staff said that she was not aware of this issue, but promised to investigate and call us back. Unfortunately, that follow-up never came either. This incident left us with a very uncomfortable impression. It seems the hotel does not have a reliable system for tracking what is present in each room. We stayed two nights, and our room was cleaned once, an ideal opportunity for staff to notice there were no bathrobes, which could have prevented this misunderstanding entirely. Instead of receiving an apology for their error, we were left with silence and no confirmation that the matter had been cleared. Being indirectly accused of taking hotel property was deeply disappointing.
