Good Nite Inn - Redwood City
10/10 Excellent
"Close to the freeway but very quiet. You can sleep with the balcony door open. Close to Trader Joe’s and IHOP-for contrasts. Spare spacious comfortable room. Very clean. I arrived from an early overseas flight well before check in and I was able to get into a room. Staff was pleasant and helpful at all levels. "
"The area is safe enough that im ok walking around just myself and kids when needed. The rooms are clean and nice with a good amount of nearby grocery stores and a few other shops. Its also really easy to get to my childrens appointments at the hospital."
"To be honest, I was very disappointed upon arrival. Your listing and pictures did not match what we walked into. At first, we had trouble opening the front door to the main house and the door was very difficult to open at the back house. The entire property was under construction With a 3 foot trench and piles of dirt with nails and screws all over the ground in the backyard. That made it very unsafe for the children to be around. There was also a smoke detector, not installed in the hallway of the main house which worried us if we were safe at all. The hot water in the showers were scolding hot. The water temperature needs to be regulated to a safe temperature on your water heaters. The pipes also were very noisy inside of the walls when water was ran. The fixtures were in poor condition throughout the entire house. There were outlets that had no screws, loose or broken frames, exposing wires and making it dangerous for children to be around. The kitchen faucet also had a shower head attached to it in order for us to wash dishes. You should not be operating a business out of your property until all the construction is complete and all the upgrades are complete. Either we want a full refund or at least 50% back of what we paid you to stay in your property. Also, the location of your property is in a very poor area. You did not advertise you were right near the exit of a freeway. I will say the sheets and the towels were in good condition, but that’s it. Shame on you"
"I was in Redwood City for a medical procedure at Sequoia Hispital. The location was convenient, though at first glance, I was not sure what to expect, but once inside, I felt reasured that this was a typical BW property. Parking is shared with the restaurant next door (Stacks - so good), but adequate. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Only downside was no elevator to the second floor, so we had to stay on the first floor since I couldn't do stairs after my procedure. I would definitely stay there again."
After visiting Marlin Park, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Redwood City. Attend a sporting event or simply enjoy the top-notch restaurants while you're in the area.
