Twin Oaks Estate - Ultimate Retreat for Large Groups w/Heated Pool & Pickleball
Twin Oaks is the perfect getaway for large families and groups. This very unique three-home estate is conveniently located only 7 miles from the Wimberley downtown square and just 8 miles from the San Marcos downtown square. Bring the whole family to this spacious place with lots of fun and unique amenities. This property allows groups of up to 26 total guests (children included).
The primary house is a grand two-level home with a fully equipped kitchen and spacious living area with wood burning fireplace. The primary home has four bedrooms located on the bottom floor and three bedrooms on the second floor. The master bedroom has a plush king size bed and beautiful ensuite master bathroom. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a full-sized bottom bunk and a twin sized bed on top. The third bedroom has a king bed and shares a bathroom with the fourth bedroom which offers a queen size bed. Upstairs you will find the fifth bedroom which has a queen size bed, twin size bed, and an ensuite bathroom. The sixth bedroom also has a queen size bed and ensuite bathroom. There is also second living area upstairs with air hockey, shuffleboard, and flat screen TV. Across the house you will find a game room with pool table and the seventh bedroom which has two queen size beds and an ensuite bathroom.
The secondary house is a single-story home that has another fully equipped kitchen with open living area and wood burning fireplace. The master bedroom has a king size bed with private ensuite master bathroom. The ninth bedroom has a queen size bed while the tenth bedroom has a king size bed. Both bedrooms share a full bathroom located off the hallway.
The third structure is what we refer to as the guest house. You will find the eleventh bedroom with a king size bed and comfortable sitting area. The twelfth bedroom has two twin size beds. There is also a kitchenette, full bathroom with walk-in shower, and private patio area.
The outdoor area of this estate features ample porch space as well as multiple seating and conversations areas scattered about the property. Take a dip in the brand new swimming pool (that can be heated during the months of October - March for an additional fee). Guests will also enjoy a propane grill, screened porch, wood burning fire pit, hot tub, and private pickleball court! There is also an EV level 2 charger for electric cars.
HEATING POOL: The pool can be heated from October - March. Advance notice is required if you would like to heat the pool. There is an additional charge of $150 per day to cover the propane usage/cost it incurs.
SELF CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS: All reservations will be required to sign a rental agreement and provide Hills of Texas Lodging with a valid credit card to be placed on file for their stay. In lieu of charging a damage deposit or non-refundable damage waiver, a temporary hold of $1,500 will be placed on a credit card upon arrival for incidentals (just like they do at hotels). We are basically just verifying with your financial institution that sufficient funds are available in the event they were needed to cover property damage(s). If there are no property damages, the card will not be charged.
CHECK-IN/OUT TIMES: Check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 10:00 am. Luggage storage is unavailable while the home is being prepared for your arrival. We recommend making travel plans accordingly.
AGE REQUIREMENT: Everyone participating in the reservation must be over age 25 or if accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.
MAX OCCUPANCY: The maximum capacity for this home is 26 guests (including children). No visitors or day guests are allowed. Only the guests registered in this reservation are allowed onsite. If it is discovered that guests are over occupying the property, it will result in eviction.
PET POLICY: Pets are not allowed at this property under any circumstance.

We the property to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday. The three houses were beautiful and accommodated our very large family. We were entertained the whole weekend with swimming, pickleball tourneys, shuffle board, pool, hot tub and the list can go on. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful homes.
I had a team meeting for my group and the property was perfect. Our group of 14 had ample room. The property was very clean and well organized. Common areas were large enough to accommodate all of our needs. My group wants to go back to the same location next year!
What an amazing, beautiful estate! I have no negative words at all!! The houses were beyond wonderful and the amenities we perfect! This was for my family to stay as we celebrated my daughter's wedding. Exquisite, stunning and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
This was by far the best set up for a large group. The separate houses worked out great and the property was set up perfectly. The amenities on the property were perfect for keeping the big group confined to one area. The shuffleboard and air hockey tables could be replaced as they are severly worn out and we were unable to use. Overall I loved it and will definitely come back.
Beautiful home and property! Stayed here for a mother son trip before school and football season starts up. House was very clean and property was exactly as described. Our only problem was that we had an invasion of ants in the kitchen that we could not get rid of. even when we removed all food from the counters, there were still ants everywhere. Grocery store. It was about a 15 minute drive so not terrible, but we were able to get Instacart delivered to us. Pizza was not able to be delivered though. Other than a few of those things, we still had an amazing time, and it was a beautiful property! We will stay here again!
The photos do NOT do it justice the place was gorgeous. We had the wedding party and parents staying with us and it was perfect. Everything was clean, stocked. Owners were great communicators I 10/10 recommend this property. Absolutely amazing.

Our church staff gathered here for our annual planning retreat. Everyone commented on the comfort of the bedrooms and there was plenty of space for us to either gather or spread out for quiet conversations. We will likely come back again!

The configuration of the property served our family reunion perfectly. The description of the houses and the surroundings are very accurate. The screened in porch on the back of the main house served as our dining area, and lots of good times were spent in the pool, hot tub, and pickle ball court. I was initially concerned about the road noise, but the fencing provided a sufficient barrier from the cars on the road. The maintenance company was very responsive both with the notices in advance of the trip, and to our needs while we were there. This property fit our group perfectly. Highly recommend for a large group.Note to the Owners: the septic system needs attention! Despite the management company reps making special trips to add bleach, the odor from the aerobic spray made us vacate the wonderful porch each evening. Secondly, the irrigation system is way overwatering your area, spraying onto the pickle ball court and being a general nuisance. You have a wonderful property to be encumbered by such simple fixes, but they need to be addressed.
We traveled to the area for a cousin's wedding and this was EXACTLY what we needed. Grandma and a few older adults were able to stay in the smaller house while the cousins stayed in the larger house. It was so great to be able to stay all together in one place and not have to get hotel rooms. Couldn't recomend more for a big group!!
The property was very roomy and was more than enough for us. The kitchen was well stocked. We did lose power on Saturday evening for 4 hrs due to a rain storm. The worst part was there are no back up generator to run the water pump. So 16 of us without water for 4 hrs was a little testy especially since it was at dinner. On Sunday evening we again lost power for 2 hrs with same water issues. Put a damper on our evening activities but we made the best of it. All in all was good but not sure we would return without assurance of back up generators. 😧😧
We had 16 adults and a toddler and the two houses gave us plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed hanging out on the large porches and making s'mores at the firepit. The hot tub was an added bonus. We had two elders who use walkers or a wheelchair so the ramp was a huge help getting them into the main house. The only issue we had was accessing the houses when we first arrived because the code did not work. Shiloh was quick to respond with a different code. We are considering staying here next year because the two houses and location is perfect for our group.
Clean, comfortable, stocked kitchen, quiet, easy check-in and out, two nice refrigerators which keep food cold! Nice to have two homes for a large family gathering.
