To spare the long story, they had very little problem solving ability, and when we only booked one person for the all inclusive )instead of two) instead of charging us what Expedia would have charged us for the “2nd person, about $260 more) they first said it would be $950, then another manager said $950, and then $750 and then $619 and then they finally charged me $609 dollars. I’m so disappointed in that experience. Feels like a hustle and clearly they were not concerned with us coming back. Also, too Was dated, and we awoke to sewer noise coming up through the bathroom drain every morning. Sounded like a Leviathan. Stay at a Marriott - avoid this Sandos hustle. Note: I spoke with them and emailed higher management. I really gave them the opportunity to avoid the negative review. They seem desperate to keep the overcharge. Bummer. "

"Stayed here Jan 2026, we did not get the All Inclusive plan. It didn’t look worth it in my eyes. Excellent location. Staff is a little annoying when asking you to buy drinks, but I get it… they want tips. But we purchased a kitchenette for a reason. We purchased our own items from Walmart. The only time the staff gave us a hard time is when we had cans out by the pool. As long as you mix your drinks in a To go cup…you’re good to go. Overall would visit again."

"The hotel is very clean. The food is very good and the staff is excellent very kind. Very friendly easy-going."

"The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. I had a little kitchenette that was well-accoutered. It is conveniently located to most establishments, but is off the main drag, so it's quieter. There is a restaurant next door that can get loud, but they don't go late into the night."

"Breakfast was fresh, great variety and different options on different days. The staff is very friendly, polite and helpful . Room had what we needed and if we needed something housekeeping would provide it with a smile. The concierge staff took care of us as soon we step inside the hotel and we enjoyed every day of our vacation walking through and back and if we had questions they would gladly helped."

"Our group of five adults had a wonderful 10-day stay at Casa Cathleen in March. The villa is spacious, stylish, and perfectly suited for a family or group getaway. We loved the heated pool, the stunning views of downtown Cabo and the marina, and the incredible sunrises and sunsets from the spacious patio—perfect for morning coffee and evening margaritas.The location is great—close to town, though there are steps down to the property and then more steps going down to town. We appreciated the fun little bucket lift for part of the climb back up! We also rented a car and parked at the marina in the evenings, which made coming and going easy.The home had been rented for several months before us, so a few basics were missing (like hair dryers, bedroom lamps, and mirrors), but we let Mike, the owner, know and he was responsive and appreciative of the feedback. We’re confident he’ll continue to improve the guest experience.Fernando, the concierge, was outstanding—helpful, kind, and always available. He helped us with groceries, luggage, and even arranged a beautiful sunset cruise. Mary Lou, the housekeeper, did a great job cleaning every other day.Overall, we had a fantastic time at Casa Cathleen and would recommend it to others looking for a comfortable, scenic retreat in the Pedregal. With a few small updates, it’ll be even better!"
