Construction of the Basilica of Saint Clare was completed in 1260, and on October 3 of that year Clare's remains were transferred to the newly completed basilica where they were buried beneath the high altar.
The mission flourished for more than 50 years despite these setbacks. Beginning in the 1830s, however, the mission lands were repossessed in conjunction with government policy implemented via the Mexico's secularization, and church buildings fell into disrepair.

The room was clean. The drain in the shower was clear, which I often check for. The staff were lovely. The only small thing that would be amazing is brighter lights in the bathroom. I would be happy staying here again! The location is very convenient too!

Room was clean and very comfortable. Hotel staff was very courteous and accommodating. We loved the area surrounding the hotel, it feels more like a resort. I highly recommend if you are looking for a place near Stanford. It made my procedure much more pleasant.

Yes, the room was spotless. The service was outstanding. The Staff at the hotel check in were very nice and remembered my name and the room I stayed in on Friday when I came back on Sunday. I definitely will be returning for another stay.
