When we arrived at the hotel, I was up sold to a higher grade room, which I willingly agreed to and paid for. At 7:30 the next morning, I received a call saying: I was being transferred to another room, the upgrade should not have been offered as they had a prior reservation for the room I was in, and I had to be out by 10:00. They did say they would not charge for the one night upgrade; however, they would not send a bellhop to pick up the luggage and the only compensation was the offer of a cheap drink in the adjacent bar.
