The staff was so kind and helpful. The room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable. The soaps and shampoos (locally made in Costa Rica) smelled so good we wanted to eat them, especially the banana conditioner. The view from the back garden was extraordinary. The only negative was that there was nowhere to walk when you left the hotel however there was a cute coffee trail in the back

The hotel has a nice idea of a little jungle right outside the urban area. Easy airport shuttle. Staff were helpful and attentive for the most part. Clearly was nicer in past and needs some updating. The view of the city is beautiful and it is a nice escape into a more remote area. That being said the food is ok. There isn’t much around you can walk to so unless you have a car or uber it’s hard to go to a restaurant etc. on site there is a little pool and some massage chairs and a small walking trail. Just go to relax if you have a day or two in SJO but not longer unless you have a car.

I loved the garden and the cold towel the front reception gives you upon arrival. I wish I could have stayed longer here, but my flight home was early in the morning. Beautiful property with views of the mountains. Restaurant was good and so were the drinks. Would love to come back.

The hotel was close to airport and the transportation was convenient. It was small secluded hotel with a nice view towards the city. I love the walking areas and the sound of nature at night and in the early morning. Breakfast was delicious. The shower was spacious and water pressure good! Beds were comfortable. It was a good place up 4,000 ft above sea level. Felt cool in the May morning (upper 60’s). The hotel had a coffee walking trail in property. We had a great balcony view of the city. Staff was always very helpful. Good was decent. Prices were in US dollars. There’s no AC in the rooms but it was ok with the ceiling fan at night. Getting to the hotel from downtown can take 45-60 minutes just because of the heavy traffic all over town. Overall good experience.
