Newly renovated, this unit boasts modern features including noise-canceling windows and sliding doors, ensuring a peaceful stay amidst the coastal charm. Your stay includes high-speed WiFi, a heated pool, jacuzzis, rooftop tennis court + pickleball court (equipment provided), AC, free parking, in-unit washer and dryer, 24/7 security, a gym, grill, surf locker and private balcony. Guests will enjoy full access to the 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo, complete with a private balcony featuring a BBQ and comfortable patio furniture. Direct beach access awaits, with the gate code provided upon booking. Nearby, discover three beachfront restaurants within walking distance and a grocery store just a 5-minute drive away, while downtown SJD is a short 15-20 minute drive. A detailed Welcome Book is provided upon booking with recommendations. The condo comes fully stocked with all your cooking needs, as well as coffee maker, coffee, tea, Nespresso machine with pods, sugar, olive oil, salt and pepper. Also included is aluminum foil, saran wrap, Ziplock bags (all sizes), vacuum sealer and bags, blender, toaster and filtered water. Other things to note Every beachfront condo backs the highway, there will be some inevitable road noise. We provide noise machines in each bedroom to help subside the noise. If you are a light sleeper we recommend bringing ear plugs. This condo has double pane windows and sliding doors which help subside the noise compared to other condos. To ensure that all residents enjoy their stay at Las Olas, the Homeowners Association asks that everyone read and comply with the following: NO KIDS UNDER 13 ALLOWED IN THE JACUZZI When you arrive, please register at the security gate so that security will know that you are an authorized resident. Water and electricity are both in short supply and expensive, please conserve both. No storage on patios. Patios should be kept clean at all times. Laundry, bedding, rugs, towels, swimwear, etc., must not be hung from the balcony rails or visible clotheslines. No pets are allowed by renters or guests. Quiet hours are between 10:00pm through 8:00am. Pool hours are between 7:00am through 10:00pm. The amenities are for the use of the owners, renters and their guests (guests must be with a renter or owner at all times) only. The gym is for adults exercise only. Please turn the air conditioner off when finished. Tennis court by reservation. Limit of one hour play if people are waiting. Parking - one vehicle is permitted per condo. Please park within lines. Comply with rules posted at pool and hot tub. Children must be kept under control and supervised. Please don’t take dishes or glassware out of the condo - use the plastic cups provided. All party’s or events must have prior written approval from the manager. There is a limit of 2 guests per condo. More than 2 guests will need prior approval from the manager. Do not leave your surfboard on the grass. All surfboard and personal items must be stored inside condos, condos decks or in lockers. Use your access card or enter the code to get in the property, do not jump the wall. Please put garbage in a closed plastic bag and deposit it in the designated area at the parking lot. Help us recycle. Do not leave food exposed, as it could attract insects. Lock all doors when you are out and at night. Drones are not allowed in the property. POOL/JACUZZI RULES Pool hours are 7am-10pm. No children under 13 allowed in the jacuzzi. No children under 13 allowed in the pool area without adult supervision. Babies under 2 must wear swimming diapers. Guests must rinse off before entering. No running or diving. No beach toys/boards in the pool. Do not remove lounges from pool area. LAS OLAS CONSTRUCTION TIME Construction time at Las Olas Condominiums is between August 1-October 15\. If you are booking in these months, please be mindful that there may be loud noise between 9am-5:30pm for all units in both buildings. Please note that the HOA can schedule emergency construction projects at any time of the year, which is out of our hands. We will do our best to inform you as soon as we are informed of any projects. The best part of it is the view and location right on the beach. Kids loved the pool, I loved enjoying the view from it. Laury was amazing with all sorts of concierge-type help. She booked us a boat and snorkel tour, found us a chef to cook for us in-house, and did airport transfers. I would definitely recommend their chef--tasty, healthy food at a price better than eating out. And she made accomodations for kids' tastes. Overall a relaxing vacation. Be aware the bedrooms and bathrooms could use some updating. The Suburban gets the job done, but is a little beat up. If you're used to new cars, you'll want to rent at the airport. Dana and Laury were awesome prior to our trip and during our vacation while answering our questions and giving us insider tips. Laury gave us some awesome recommendations for dinner (so good!) and Dana was able to give us tips for surf spots and board rentals. The apartment was what we expected and needed. They have updated the bathrooms and they are nice. The whole place will need a deep clean after update projects are finished to clean out all of the construction dust. It was super helpful to have a washer/drier on hand and they provide soaps for bathroom, kitchen and laundry. We used public busses (super easy), Taxis and rented the suburban for a few days. All are easy to use and worked well. All people we encountered on our trip were very friendly and answered questions for us. Only bummer is that the kids can’t get in the hot tub (and they definitely got cold from wind chill) but Dana had let us know prior so we were prepared. I also want you to know the a/c vent in entry was leaking water when I left on Monday. I hope they housekeeper noticed and got Maintenance in to fix. Your service was prompt and helpful. It is very basic and clean and we were able to do any cooking we wanted to in the kitchen. The locker had surf boards that you can easily walk to the surf in front of the condos. The team who manages this property are very communicative and available to help if needed. The location is right off the highway so loud, white noise machines are provided. The condo as a whole is nice and the pool was great for kids. There aren’t a lot of kids in the condo and the crowd is older. I get the sense they don’t want the noise and ruckus that comes with kids but it was tolerated okay. Anyone under 13 is not allowed in the hot tub and they are very strict about this. Overall, an easy place to stay if you don’t want a resort that is in a good location. ##### Ginger B. My son and i so enjoyed the location and amenities. It is directly on zippers for those surfers out there. Only issue was the elevator. I am undergoing some treatment that made the stairs very difficult so if stairs are challenging, be sure the elecator is back up and running. Other than that…absolutely perfect!! ##### eli m. The view was amazing and the location of the unit was perfect. The condo was spacious, clean and had all that we needed for a perfect vacation. Las olas is in one of the best locations in the area if you like surfing, snorkeling,and any other beach activity. The unit was as described and consistent with other reviews. A bit dated but everything worked, and having a well functioning washer, dryer, dishwasher, toaster etc... Really makes things easy. Had some minor stress about not getting specific instructions in advance about how to access the unit, but had no problem when we arrived and were even able to check in early. ##### andrea p. It is not in condition to be offer for rent. All the faucets doesnt work, the showers too. The first night we couldnt sleep for the noise of the air conditioner, the following day they repair it. The door of the suite is broken and you have to leave the black out down otherwise the people of the same floor can see you in the toilet. We also reant the suburban that they offer, it is a dissaster! The air conditioner doesnt work in the first 10 minutes, and it is a really hot city, the doors doenst close, you have to leave the car open, the windows doesnt work too. The leather of the seats is damagge so you have to seat in the cushion. Laury is helpfull but the appartment need to be renew otherwise is not good for rent, it is very expensive in relation of the state of it. ##### paula d. Whale watching from the balcony and beautiful sunrises were what we enjoyed the most during our stay. The owner and his property manager were very helpful and solved any minor problems we had quickly. The condo does need to be updated, but it was clean and well stocked with everything you need. I was worried with the beach having perfect surfing waves for all levels that it would be crowded, especially over Easter weekend, but nope! Just a wide open quiet sandy beach. I was also worried I'd have to wake up early to save chairs at the pool, but nope! Plenty of pool chairs and tables with umbrellas. Even the pool never had more than a few people in it, and this was spring break. San Jose del Cabo is waaaaay better than Cabo San Lucas, and the nearby old town is very quaint with great restaurants and shops. On Tues nights is an art walk with wine and tequila flowing in the galleries. Much more my style than Cabo Wabo. The condo itself has the most spectacular view of the ocean. My reason for not giving it 5 stars is that it desperately needs updating/remodeling. If you're like me and just want a reasonably priced place and don't want to pay $$$ for an oceanfront view with literal steps to an awesome beach, and don't care about things like chipped countertops, rust/scratches on the side of fridge (I was just grateful to have a fridge that we wouldn't have in a hotel), cracks on the bathroom mirrors, and hardware missing from the bathroom pocket door so we had to literally drag it across the floor....then this place is great for you. I figured for the price I was paying, I got what I paid for. A crash pad for sleeping, and every penny worth it for the view and location. ##### Brooke B. We rented Penthouse B501 from December 21 2017 to January 20 2018 . We used Dana’s manger Laury to pick us up at the airport. For a fee she is available for you. If you had a problem the owner Dana was there for you. Just call. The place needs to be updated but the views of the ocean and sun rise are out of this world. Not to many condos right on the ocean for reasonable price. Our daughter rented his other penthouse B 504 for a week. Between the two places there was 12 of us . Had a blast. Grounds are well taken care, security is top notch, friendly, helpful. Lots of English speaking people in the other condos who can answer any concerns you may have about groceries, bus etc. The Wifi , lots of channels on TV, Vonage phone to call long distance free plus the local phone seems like that was a bonus to Dana’s places.
