This is a quiet family neighborhood that takes late night noise and partying seriously. We are not a good choice for "spring breakers" or groups looking to party late in the pool or hot tub area. Otherwise you have an elegant Mexican Hacienda with unsurpassed ocean views located in a private gated oceanfront community next to the world renowned Palmilla One and Only Hotel and with easy access to several of the most beautiful and private beaches in all of Los Cabos. This entire property is designed to foster memorable moments with close family and friends. Located on the highly desirable "Cabo Corridor", in between the quaint traditional town of San Jose Del Cabo (5-10 mins drive), with its organic restaurants and art galleries, and the party town of Cabo St. Lucas (15-20 mins drive), you are perfectly situated to enjoy all that Los Cabos has to offer, including world class golf, fishing, surfing, and a vast range of eco tourism experiences in the nearby bays or on the East Cape. Or just relax, stock up with your favorite goodies from the nearby stores and organic markets and spend your days relaxing in the infinity pool, hot tub, and meditation gardens, gazing out into the gorgeous Sea of Cortez and bbq-ing with family and friends under the moon and stars. The community offers excellent 24 hour security and is considered extremely safe. Our amazing property manager lives just a few doors away and we can leave you in complete peace and quiet or provide any required amenity including daily maid service, airport transportation, private chef, mariachi band, recommendations for restaurants and activities, and more. Likewise, in the case of any emergencies, help is literally right around the corner. We do recommend a rental car for guests staying at our property allowing you access to all that Los Cabos has to offer, the ability to pop to the store for groceries, and ease of access to the beautiful beaches below our home. The property has lots of outdoor space for relaxation. We enjoyed evening happy hours on the patio after spending the day in the lovely pool (which is where we spent most of our time because it was HOT!). The neighborhood is very quiet and the house is not far from the beach. The kitchen is well-stocked for making meals. We had Elba come cook for us one evening and she made an incredible meal - highly recommend! Maria, the property manager, was great and responded promptly to some questions we had. So much of our time was spent on the patio and pool area! Coming from the east coast and moving to Arizona I didn’t realize how much I missed seeing the ocean. There was plenty of room inside the house and the kitchen was well equipped. The house was spotless which is very important to me! The only con was the outdoor furniture on the upper level could definitely used some updating. The property manager María was available any time we had questions and the personal chef Elba was definitely an excellent cook. We hired her to supply us snacks the day we arrived and she went overboard with the food she prepared. We had Elba cook dinner for us on night and everything she prepared was absolutely delicious! Driving down to the beach is easy as well. The location is tranquil and from here it is easy to get to San Jose and Cabos. Cons: The outdoor furniture shows its age. Indoor is desperately in need of some repairs (e.g., broken faucets, poorly operating fridge) and updates to the kitchen. It would have been nice to have a larger supply of hand and body soap, as that ran out quickly. An extra set of towels would have been nice as well. Bonus: Elba the chef was magnificient! We ended up having to change our flights due to hurricane Norma so arrived 2 days later than planned. Matt was very understanding and refunded us for the two nights we missed. The power had not been restored so our first night and part of the day we were without power but the generator provided some electricity. Matt was very kind and issued a refund for that night as well. The home is very comfortable and the view is spectacular! We loved our daily walks on the beach below and cooling off in the pool while looking out over the beach below. Great location in that it is a quick trip to Fresko for any grocery items needed. Also very quick access to the highway for any road trips. We had chef Elba come and cook for us one evening! Lovely woman and delicious food and drink. Beds were very comfortable and always felt safe with the windows open so never even turned on the air conditioning. Rented a car with mex rent a car and had a great experience also. The security guard was always friendly and told us to wall left at the parking lot when going to the beach a few blocks from the house as this was more secluded from the big waves for the little kids. The house has amazing views, looking east over the ocean. We saw several whales in the afternoon, and watching the sun come up in the morning was spectacular. The property manager was great and able to quickly resolve a couple of minor issues that came up. We wished we had a couple of extra days, and talked about wanting to come back next year. We have been coming to Cabo for over 15 years and always rent a home. This is our favorite so far. Before we arrived, the owner (who is super responsive) sent us a ton of information about the home, the area and the check-in process. It was great. Our check-in was super simple and we were all set to enjoy our vacation! The home has a great layout. There is a master on the main floor, a second master upstairs and a kids' bunk room upstairs. A large living area and kitchen meant space for everyone. Below the pool is a whole other entertaining area with a table and cool fire feature. There is also a large casita that has its own patio and garden. The views are amazing - ocean views from each of the rooms and we loved watching the whales go by. We really enjoyed this home and the owner and property manager could not have been nicer. A bonus is that it is located across the highway from a huge, new supermarket as well as Merkado. ##### H N.
