Friendly front desk staff, great breakfast variety. Would give 5 star if our key card had worked consistently for the entrances, parking and elevator accesses. Luckily, another family member had a separately room whose key card worked and used for accesses.

Though Excelsior may not have many top sights, you can venture to the surrounding area to see attractions like Cow Palace and San Bruno Mountain.
Noe Valley
