We had stayed here when it was a moderately priced inn and decided to book it for 2 nights with the expectation that the newly renovated hotel, which, at the time, advertised a top restaurant. Upon arrival, the hotel was virtually empty and had a staff of 1 person to checkin, valet park our car, and take luggage up to our room. AND there was NO restaurant and NO Bar, but had 4-5 star prices. Our bill was over $200 more than the price we paid with Expedia - including $54 per day for parking (outside, uncovered), and $97 for a "Madison Service Fee". We paid for a 4-5 star hotel and found an understaffed hotel with very nice rooms but without either a restaurant or bar (they did serve us a single item breakfast both days which was tasty}. The price was simply exorbitant given the lack of normal amenities of the top hotel. The hotel WILL fail and we won't be back.
