What a great spot!
For my GF’s birthday trip she wanted privacy, quiet, a nice beach and some family time (we brought her 10 year old daughter). The beach house delivered on all counts! Highly recommend! You can’t beat this place!

Awesome beach house!
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house on the beach. Stunning sunrises to wake up to. Miles of pristine beach to walk. Going to sleep listening to surf. It does not get much better! I have been going to Mexico for over 50 years and rank this stay in being in my "Best Of List".

The location is incredible, just few steps away from the ocean. AC in the bedrooms were providing great comfort at nights. Cleaning and maintenance crew was always on top of our requests.

Love this house!
Had such a great time at this house we reached out to the hosts to find out if it was for sale. Great location with the volleyball court right next door. If you do not bring a Volleyball you can get one for $10 on the Malecon. Great time, great views. Well kept home with everything we need. Will be visiting again.

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas. Sunny days, sunrise over the Gulf of CA, stars at night!, quiet, friendly, and very few people. Could not have asked for a more peaceful location to spent Christmas/birthday week. We may need to make this a tradition.

Awesome location!
The property was awesome! It was clean and had all the basic essentials. Renters should realize where they are at and that it’s off grid. In August it is hot and humid. No one’s fault! We had an amazing time and the bonus was having miles of beach in each direction, all to ourselves! Our dogs especially had a blast roaming the beach and swimming! We will be back!

Off THE GRID
My husband and I spent seven days in this beautiful desert oasis. The property caretaker and his wife stopped by mid week to make sure the AC was working properly. The weather was hot and humid both in the day and at night so we practically had on swim suites and shorts throughout the week. We stopped by Calimax in San Felipe to buy fresh shrimp and a few steaks. This store has clean restrooms and AC. Most of the week was very windy. One night we even had a sand storm that blew in piles of sand in the veranda and the front of the house. Nevertheless, every day was a new adventure swimming in the aquamarine ocean and star gazing at the gazillion stars at night. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely come back.

I totally recommend this wonderful beautiful peace of heaven on earth!!!
I love this quiet beautiful place the ocean view is magical!!!! If you are looking for a place to relax this is the place to relax!!! Everything is really great !!! The only down side is if we are 2 adults on the heavy side it is very uncomfortable to sleep on these beds; everything else is great!!!!

Perfect beach house
We had an amazing time at this house! The house is a perfect beach house with terra cotta tile through out (we swept each day to keep the sand at bay) and big windows to enjoy the sea of Cortez from every angle in the home. We loved the open kitchen for cooking, the bbq grill on the big back patio to enjoy the mountain sunset views, the beachfront patio to relax day or night and watch the moonrise over the sea! The bedrooms were comfy and the bathrooms were beautiful. We really enjoyed every minute. We only went to town one day out of our 6 day stay to grab a few items to keep us going, there is no reason to leave here if you cook your own meals and make your own drinks, the view and beach can’t be beat! Friendly neighbors strolling the beach daily and everyone waves as they ride by on their atvs! We will certainly be back! We brought some things once I asked Joe what was provided but basically the house has everything you need. The kitchen has pretty limited pantry other than the very basic so bring basically everything - even sugar. There were cooking utensils and sufficient plastic ware glasses and bowls and dishes. We brought our insulted wine cups and glasses for special cocktails in the evening. But we do love our drinks ha! There was enough pots and pans to cook every meal but some do need to be replaced (nonstick pans had serious wear and coating was scratched and peeling off) unless these are replaced I would bring a quality saute pan next time we come. Water pressure was sub par in ocean view bedroom but that may have been because the shower hand held sprayer had a bit of a leak. Honestly just a few minor things that can easily be fixed! We had an incredible time and will absolutely be back!!

Amazing property
We had such a relaxing time. The house was immaculate and had all the amenities listed. It was quiet and peaceful.. sunrise was gorgeous. We fished and caught over 40 fish..fished off the shore as well. The paddle boards were great. We are booking this property again.

Cute beach house. Needs some updates such as bed and linens. Pretty far from town (31.5 km). You have to run generator daily for power. Wi-Fi good. Water is trucked in and not potable. Drinking water provided. Beach was very nice.

Off-grid home in a small, gated strip of seaside homes. Very quiet during our week there. House is reasonably equipped, although cooking utensils sub-thrift store quality and dishes not well cleaned. Big rear patio with panoramic view of the gulf.

Toes in the sand
We were looking for a house smack on the beach where the kids could play even when we were cooking or relaxing in the shade of the porch. It is a perfect setup. We went in late April and the weather was 90 day and 70 at night.The house has ample bathing water and power as long as you are mindful of conservation practices. There was about 20 gallons of bottled water on hand on arrival. We used about half in 5 days. The house has a basic kitchen and I most everything you need to cook all your meals. Extras include two SUPs and a hammock. Written directions with photos provided and very helpful info on the house and area was also sent prior to our trip. The house is one of many along the beach front, but most of the houses are not rentals. Only 4 or 5 houses were occupied during our stay, so we had the beach to ourselves except for an occasional walker. Sand buggies and 4x4 vehicles do pass by a few times a day, but everyone was courteous. The house is good and we felt well cared for by the local contacts.

Incredible experience
My family had the greatest time staying here. The property manager was very helpful. The place was very clean and the beach is just right outside the back door. Watching Sunrise form the backyard and Sunset from the front of the house was the best part. We had enough water and power in the house. The 2 paddle boards was a plus! It was great overall. I would definitely come back.

The house is immaculate! Had everything you need to make your stay perfect The views were amazing. Ocean is steps from your back door. Joe was very prompt in answering any questions we had. The caretakers were very friendly and helpful getting us all in, they even left a small ice maker for us to use for the week.We absolutely loved it here. Amazing beachfront getaway
This house was beautiful set directly on the beach about 30 min south of San Filipe. We are fresh fish every night that we caught just in front of the house. We swam, floated and saw beautiful shells. The house was clean, welcoming and stocked with everything we needed

Super quiet get away
We had a super time. The owner, Joe, was staying with his family just a few doors down. He was personable and welcoming. The house was clean, well designed, and comfortable. We loved that it was dog-friendly. If you want to be right in the middle of the action, this is not the place for you. It is a 30-minute drive into town. For us, that was perfect. We wanted a quiet beach pad. My only criticism was the power. Since the house is off the grid, the only power is solar. Despite trying to be careful, our power ran out three of the five nights. I just had to go start up the generator for a very brief stint in the morning, and it was back on though. Anyway, thanks Joe. We had a great time and will be back.

Enjoyed meeting you as well. Glad you enjoyed the house and the beach. The solar system is set up for the house and is equipped with an instant start quiet generator for guests that need extra power. Some guests run it for an hour each morning.

Lovely house, lovely beach.
The house is large, architecturally interesting, on a gorgeous miles long white sand beach. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of towels, pretty well equipped with everything. Caretakers were very quick to help us out. Minor things: the oven didn’t work,, it’s Mexico, sometimes that’s just the way it is. Would highly recommend for a large group, who wants peace and quiet. We will definitely return.

Great beach house
Being right on the beach, the house was very pleasant - perfect for us! As an architect I particularly liked the way the kitchen and main space has an extended expanse of glass across the beach side of the house, but was nicely shaded by the porch on the beach (east) side and to the south. The large circular walk-in showers were also very enjoyable. The directions were clear and the arrangements with the caretaker all went smoothly. We will consider this house for our next trip to the beach.

We had the stove and oven checked and it's all working. Guest must have accidentally turned off power to the stove. The switch is on the kitchen island next to the stove and the stove needs power for the electronic igniter. Typical temps in October: low range from 69-76 and high range 83-89 hence guests have not needed a heating system. Heating system installed for colder months December/January.

Very nice, off the grid home.
Enjoyed all aspects of the home, family felt very safe, very quite. I only have one critique there was a 3 ft drop from the deck to the beach that was very difficult for my family to navigate, maybe some stairs would ease that. Other then that I would come again and again.
