Toulon Palapa - Cozy Beach Cottage, Steps to Beach/Bay, Parking!

Relax on your private patio with a gas BBQ and seating in a great location! Enjoy the very comfortable home which is located is in the heart of Mission Beach, close to the Mission Bay Aquatic Center and the Mission Bay Sports Center, both less that a five-minute walk from the residence.

Fully stocked kitchen, dining table with seating for 6 people, washer/dryer in unit.

The garage is small, the dimension is H:79" W:8' L:15'.
San Diego Sunset does not guarantee your vehicle will be able to fit in the parking space provided, nor are we able to provide additional parking if the assigned parking is too small.

Mission Beach is conveniently located near the San Diego Zoo, the Historic Gas Lamp Quarter, Sea World, Old Town, Lego-land, Harbor Cruises, Sport Fishing and Qualcomm Stadium.

This property requires that all renters be 25 or older. Please call our office before making a reservation that breaks this policy.

Great location and good small home

Very good property located 3 homes away from mission beach. Mitch is Great property manager who helped fixed a couple of issues very quickly. Nice home for 3 adults and 2 kids. Property is old and not upgraded, it does get hot in summers (they should add AC in all rooms), master bedroom has AC buts its noisy and takes long time to cool down Beds could be a little bigger, As mentioned in description Garage will only fit a sedan or small suv. Overall great place that needs a few upgrades

Great place with a great location

We had a quick weekend trip to Mission Beach and this place was perfect! The location was great and we were able to walk (or ride scooters) everywhere. The host was excellent and easy to get in touch with. Our only issue, if you can even call it that, was that the garage was a bit small for a full sized sedan but if you don't mind looking for parking or have a smaller car it won't even be an issue. Overall we loved our stay and would come back again!

Nice location

We liked the location but we didn't love it. The property needs updating. Room with the A/C was good to stay in but the rest of the house was muggy and hot. The garage shouldn't be listed as a garage due to normal sized vehicles not fitting. The location of the unit is awesome as its steps from the beach, a bike rental store, food and our favorite coffee shop Better Buzz.

Perfect for what we were looking for

This was the perfect get away for our girls trip! Great distance to the beach, walking distance to so many great restaurants and shopping. Perfect size for the two of us to just relax and decompress!

So close to the beach!

We loved the proximity to the ocean and the bay. The house was clean and slept six comfortably. Finding a parking spot on the street for a van required patience as only a small car will fit in the garage. I would suggest that beach towels be available for use. We had a great time!

Very nice small home

It met and in some ways exceeded my expectations. Reviewing bed softness is a waste of time as tastes differ. The small house packed in enough amenities and the proximity to the beach made for an enjoyable getaway for my family.

July Vacation

Nice house - great location - not really modern or new but clean and comfortable. Having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was a plus. I also liked having the washer and dryer available. The garage is small as described but like really really small so just don’t plan on using it if you have a regular sized car. With a few updates like new carpet or no carpet in the master bedroom and maybe And updated sofa in the living room would make this place even better. But It was really clean and not bad at all- the location was the best steps from the beach and plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance.

Location is worth the downfalls

You can not beat the proximity to the beach for this little house! The main disappointment was there was no hot water! The water was lukewarm at best and didn’t even last long enough to do the dishes. The house and furniture within definitely need an upgrade as all the pots and pans were very old and stained, blinds were broken, couch was very worn in and beds had springs poking up. However, these little nusences were well worth it with how close the beach is to the house! I would recommend you bring your own beach equipment as the house is not stocked with it and you have to rent it and turn it in at the end of everyday which is not ideal.

Beach house

The place has all the amenities you need for a nice vacation. Clean and well kept. Would suggest consideration be given to lock box for keys be placed on the unit instead of checking into the unit. Also consider being very clear that parking is extremely difficult. The one car garage will only fit a small sports car. With that Said it is a nice place in a great location. Also rental staff are extremely nice and professional.
