You can step out of our home and onto the fine beach sand of Mission Bay, and not have to worry about crossing a street. ‘Bayside Walk’ is right at your doorstep (One of the most scenic walking and biking trails in Southern California that curves gently around Mission Bay). If you are looking to enjoy big ocean waves and the hustle and bustle of Mission Beach, it is only a 5 minute stroll away. Start your day relaxing inside or outside with a cup of coffee, and watch a beautiful Bay sunrise. During the day, take advantage of 19 miles of sandy beaches, 14 miles of bike paths, a network of channels, islands, coves and wildlife preserves, including so many recreational activities that you could easily spend all your time at the bay without having to think about driving your car! When the sun goes down, fire up the BBQ, and look out over the blissfully quiet beach, and the tranquil, calm water of the bay. We stayed here with three couples. The deck was our favorite hang out, kitchen was well stocked, and this place was conveniently located near many attractions. We visited the San Diego Zoo, took a bay tour, visited the USS Midway, Hotel del Coronado, and Torrey Pines Nature Reserve. Grant was very helpful and made everything go smooth with our visit. It was a great property. We had 2 cars so we had to find parking which was hard but we had bikes so we rode to and from. Belmont park is so close. We enjoyed the beach and the view. Very simple booking and access. This was the perfect location for us to call home base while in San Diego. Kids loved playing on the beach bayside and the walk to the ocean was very quick and easy. We're pleased with our decision to stay on Bayside Walk instead of Ocean Front Walk. The peace and calm of Santa Barbara Cove is more our speed. We appreciate the detailed instructions. We've been able to figure everything out from those. We appreciate organization and cleanliness and were easily able to adapt to the environment. Please let your wife know the house was very well stocked upon arrival. It was great to have tissue, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish cloth, dish towels, dish sponge, dish soap, and dishwasher pods in the house and easy to find. Easy, quick walk across the street to the bustling beach. Everything is high end, modern, clean. Well appointed kitchen. Loved every sunrise and sunset! Three floors with spiral staircases- just thought I’d mention for anyone for which that is important. The building is angled to the alley and the garage is just past once you see the front door. That was a tiny bit confusing when we first arrived but a nice neighbor helped us out. Would have loved a few more restaurant, cafe recommendations in the welcome book but that’s nothing Yelp can’t solve. Cleaners arrived at 9:45am so check out time at 10am is truly strict.
