The neighborhood is very hilly though, so walking is a little more strenuous than I hoped it would be. Uber pick ups were always very quick. The location is close to Balboa park which has many museums and sites to see. The beds in the house were comfortable. We didn’t cook but the kitchen seemed well stocked. The only downside was parking. Perhaps if you live in CA or the big city, the parking is a normal situation. But there is no designated spot. The cottage was pristine and beautifully furnished and appointed with wonderful beds, linens and kitchen appliances. The area was lovely and quiet and close to many of North Park’s trendy restaurants/bars and a short walk to beautiful Balboa Park. Highly recommend! ##### Clare K. We really enjoyed the location. 3 minutes drive to the San Diego zoo, walking distance to a bunch of stores, 15 minutes or less drive to downtown and airport, 15 minute drive to multiple beaches. Being within walking distance of Louisiana Purchase, my favorite restaurant, was a major plus. We loved being able to easily pop over for dinner without worrying about driving or parking. Parking was a bit of a hassle mainly at nights, but that's just part of San Diego living, and it didn’t detract any thing from our overall experience. Loved our stay in north park! Plenty of space for our family - two beds and two baths!! Plenty of bedding and towels, full set of wine glasses and much more! Enjoyed using the side patio.
