From Home, head 1-2 miles west on Broadway (our nearest cross street) and you'll run right by Horton Plaza shopping mall, the lovely Gaslamp Quarter, Little Italy and San Diego BAY with its many sights including the Midway Museum!

Our home is extremely convenient for Convention Center visits (1.8 miles)! Completely Remodeled Historic private studio with original touches including beautiful vaulted ceilings! Just 2 miles away you can visit the baby pandas at the World Famous San Diego Zoo or take in one of the many museums or the botanical garden during a pleasant walk through beautiful Balboa Park where you'll hear live music and see street performers as you wander from one site to another. Riding home on the Bus drops you off just a couple of blocks away or use Uber or Lyft to get around for about half the price of a taxi. Want to see a spectacular view of San Diego Bay? Visit the Star of India, Midway Museum and Seaport Village, all within 1.5-2 miles. You can also hop on the ferry and cross the bay to Coronado for a day of luxury on the island. Prefer to drive over the Coronado bridge? It's only a 4.9 mile drive to the far Ocean facing side of the island. Golden Hill has easy access to all the major San Diego highways, making a trip to San Diego beaches just 8-20 minutes away.
The bungalow is the perfect home away from home to return to after a fun filled day in San Diego. With granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, the fully equipped kitchen provides all the amenities needed for making your own home cooked meals. Enjoy the back yard relaxing in the new Jacuzzi, lounge chairs and grilling on the dual Gas and Charcoal BBQ's. Beware of falling avocados! Our massive 100 year old tree is packed with fruit, use them for some homemade guacamole! Sit back and enjoy the flat screen TV with Satellite channels and DVR or hop on the internet with our lightning fast free WiFi. Did your clothes get sandy at the beach? No worries. We have FREE on site laundry and we provide laundry detergent. Each room is decorated with all the comforts of home in mind. Organic Mattress on the Queen bed and Sofa sleeper chair make this a comfortable space for 1-2 adults, and enough space for a small adult or child on the single sleeper chair. Sheets, towels, and blankets are all provided as well as dish soap, toilet paper and paper towels. We consider pets, please inquire first.
