With 2 kids, 12 and 9 this was perfect for a quick getaway. The remodeled unit was perfect for our family of 4\. I appreciated how much was available for us to use while we were there. There were beach chairs, surfboards, bikes and variety of beach toys. The kids definitely took advantage and used almost everything. With the unit being right on the sand we spent a whole day just relaxing by the water. I have already recommended this exact unit to several friends and family, because of how comfortable our stay was this week. ##### Christy R. Great view from the patio. Stayed in July with 72-74 degree weather and did not need the optional AC unit. Bedroom has a good fan and window you can open, and the balcony sliding door can be left open to cool the unit. Close to the trash chute which is nice, and easy access to the bay. Only downside, is the couch is the stiffest most uncomfortable thing I've ever sat in, and the internet didn't work reliably while we were there. However you are in San Diego, so you should be spending a minimal amount of time on the couch and TV. ##### Marshall D.
