Mermaid Crossing at Capri by the Sea - Panoramic Ocean View, Pool, Parking, Hot Tub & Rooftop Deck! Mermaid Crossing, on the 9th floor, is the most beautiful one bedroom/one bath condo in Capri by the Sea, the only oceanfront high rise building in the beach area! In May of 2020, we completed a 4 month remodel during the Coronavirus down-time. The remodel was coordinated by a talented designer and an equally talented father/son contractor team. We gutted the kitchen and put in new cabinets and quartz countertops with a "waterfall" effect spilling the quartz over the side of the counter. There are also all new stainless steel appliances. The bathroom has a new tub/shower combination with beautifully tiled walls, and a new cabinet with quartz top. Throughout the condo is all new Pergo-style "driftwood" flooring installed on the diagonal, mirrored walls, a rock wall with an electric "mood" fireplace that also provides heat on the South wall, a 65 inch TV, beautiful ceiling beams and a ceiling fan. The large convenient desk area easily pulls down and converts to a queen Murphy bed with a view. If you need additional sleeping space, we have provided an extremely comfortable new high end queen sofa bed. The bedroom also has a new top of the line king mattress, a 55 inch TV and ceiling fan. There are all new furnishings throughout. This condo features floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room to maximize the breathtaking views of the ocean, recently replaced with all glass railings for an uninterrupted view of the Pacific Ocean. You will love your stay in this conveniently located condo in the heart of Pacific Beach. It is within easy walking distance to many restaurants and shops and just steps to the sun and sand! The kitchen is fully equipped for dining at home with seating for 5 and a spectacular ocean view. The condo sleeps 6 very comfortably or 3 guests in each single sleeping arrangement. NEED MORE ROOM? If you would like to travel with extended family or other families, we have three 1-bedrooms and three 2- bedrooms in this building; three in a row on the 9th floor, 909, 910 and 911 plus 1005 and 1010 right above them. Capri by the Sea offers every amenity you could want and need for your stay in San Diego. A single parking space is included with your reservation. The rooftop offers 360 views of Pacific Beach, with BBQ grills and picnic tables and lounge seating. A heated (80 degrees) pool and hot tub are located on the ground floor behind the Capri building and are accessible with your key fob. A washer and dryer (coin-operated) are located at the South end of the hallway just outside the condo. A trash and recycling chute is located on the North end. Your key fob gives access to that condo's floor, lobby, rooftop, garage and pool area. Check-in instructions sent via email will provide more details about how to obtain your keys/lock code and fobs. Vacation rentals in San Diego are for the most part, second homes for the owners. Therefore, some furniture or decor may differ from what is pictured because the owners needed or wanted to replace something. Professional photos are expensive and we can not re-photograph the rental every time something is changed but we do maintain the listing content with any notable furnishing changes especially related to sleeping arrangements. I wasn’t sure if it was gonna be as nice as the pictures looked and it absolutely was. The view is phenomenal.. I will be buying a bidet now as well. I would definitely come back! ##### Melanie W. Being up on the 9th floor you don’t even hear the people on the walking path or down on the beach. We loved watching the ocean tides and even when a storm rolled in, we were mesmerized. We saw parasailing and windsurfing along with dolphins and pelicans. The sunsets are amazing. The accommodations were very nice and we enjoyed literally everything! The view is spectacular, the location is fantastic - right on the boardwalk, walking distance to restaurants, shopping, etc. The detail provided on everything was perfect - check in, Wifi, expectations - you name it. Response from the property company was almost immediate on the one small question/concern we had. Also, honestly one of the best "stocked" Vrbo properties we've ever stayed in. So I gave it the name, Our Beach Condo! My family and I found a place that we all love so much. What a GORGEOUS condo with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. Beachfront location cannot be beat. We loved falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean waves. Convenient path made for easy beach access. Beds were so comfortable, we felt like we were laying on clouds after full days of sightseeing and sunbathing. Never expected a Murphy bed to be so soft and cozy!Kitchen was fully stocked, and open layout was perfect for our family. Heated pool and relaxing hot tub right around the corner open til 10pm! Great way to end the night. We could walk or bike to a ton of shops and restaurants. Loved this beach town. Couldn't have been happier with our stay in Capri by the Sea in Pacific Beach! ##### Gin R. It is so close to everything in San Diego but we found it hard to leave due to the views. There are so many tasty restaurants and coffee shops near by. The condo is exactly as described and the view is even better. Also a perk was the beach and boardwalk right outside the building. Could not have been more perfect. ##### Grace A. We had a 5 night stay and this property did not disappoint! The views were amazing and the perfect distance from downtown SD and La Jolla. The unit is fully equipped with everything you need, including beach gear. This is quite possibly the most comfortable bed I've had in a VRBO to date. We enjoyed watching the surfers all day long as well as the fun owners were having with their dogs on the beach. The condo is very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay.
