Our building is walking distance to great restaurants (2 blocks) and shopping. there is evening nightlife and live music nearby as well. Getting Around: You can't beat this location! Step out the front door and you are at the beach! 2 minute walk to the famous Ocean Beach Pier and Newport Ave our "Main St" with all the restaurants, bars and shopping. 5 minute drive to Sunset Cliffs Natural Park, 5 minutes to Sea World and 10-15 min to the Zoo, Downtown San Diego, the Convention Center, Petco Park. She lives nearby (and doesn’t like to travel), and my other sister came down from O.C., my brother from Houston, and I c as me from Tucson. Being by the beach was the goal…having a gorgeous view from the living room was a huge bonus. Really enjoyed the weekend. Beds were comfortable, except for the sofa bed (even when it was the sofa), so we didn’t use that in the end (though we had intended to). Nice location, great view, good to have safe parking.
