Good, central location to most of SD. Relatively quiet area. Be aware you can hear air traffic during daylight hours, but it's not bad. The furniture and beds are comfortable. You'll have a hard time getting a large SUV into the garage, so plan your rental car accordingly. Having that for parking is a must. It's easy to get most anywhere in SD in minutes from this area, so the location is great. Most of the restaurants are a little further up in Mission Beach, there isn't much within walking distance of the house. But we had no trouble finding parking wherever we went. Three kids traveling with us, and all loved the space. And the beach is a stones-throw away, that was great. It was a great trip! ##### DAVID H. Beautiful home in a great location! This beachy home is just a few steps from the beach to the left or the quieter marina to the right. The property is nicely maintained and was recently remodeled. We loved all the light coming thru large windows. Perfect 2nd floor patio for enjoying the cool ocean breeze. Kitchen was very well equipped for cooking and everything in working condition. Beds were comfy and we loved all the storage. Especially the walk in closet in primary bedroom. Our family had an amazing stay at this home! It was spotless, bright, and beautifully decorated, with a layout perfect for larger families. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals, and the beach gear made our days in the sun effortless. The location couldn't be better—just a few minutes' walk to both the beach and bay. We LOVED this part of Mission Beach it was quieter, less crowded, and very family-friendly. The neighborhood itself was peaceful, yet close to plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, and even Belmont Park. The spacious garage was a huge bonus, and our Chevy Trax fit perfectly. Drift Vacation Homes was wonderful to work with—responsive, friendly, and quick to answer any questions! However, I don’t recall that the online description indicated that the unit was on two levels plus outside stairs. This information would have been useful. Right between bay and ocean. Garage is small and really only one car can fit due to furnace and stuff in garage. Maybe a smart car could fit there. Airplane noice but wasn't terrible. Would stay here again. Well stocked kitchen. Quick response from company. Lots of stairs though so be prepared for that. Games under kitchen counter. It was a very easy walk to beach, bay, bars, and food. Easy bike ride to restaurants. We loved the rooftop patio--we could see the ocean on the beach & bay side from our rooftop--it was the perfect spot for our group to enjoy each other's company, listen to music, and grill. Everything was clean. The beds were comfortable and the location was perfect, just a block from the beach. The oven was brand new and was missing its racks.
