Spacious and central, right in the middle of the action in San Juan. The place is large, with a little kitchenette equipped with a fridge, a toaster, a microwave, a kettle and a few other bits but no hobs. The place was quite clean but not fully. The balcony is huge and a nice touch. There are a few things that made the stay uncomfortable. The elevator was broken, so I had to carry my suitcase up alone around 4-5 flights of stairs. I don't recommend the stairs for everyone, as they are quite steep. I didn't mind the exercise but with a suitcase it was really uncomfortable, especially when there is no A/C (there is A/C in the rooms though). The bathroom has quite a precarious step right outside of it, which one could easily trip over. As others have mentioned, the lights in the bathroom turn off something like every 30 seconds. I thought I wouldn't mind this when showering but the sensor is not very sensitive in picking up on movement so it's quite annoying. The host seemed very nice when I spoke to her (my key was in the wrong lock box when I arrived) but she answered straight away. She doesn't speak English, just as a consideration. I didn't hear anything else over 3 days except a request for a review, but I think she would have helped if anything was wrong. Overall it was OK. Pros were that it felt secure, the A/C worked, it was huge + it was in a perfect location. The cons were the broken elevator, that it wasn't super clean/a bit run down and some illogical design.

This apartment was perfect in every way! It was decorated beautifully, the yard was gorgeous with fruit trees everywhere! It was comfortable and very clean for our party of three. Minutes from the beach, the popular strip to go out, and about 15 minutes from old San Juan. We were provided with beach towels which was helpful! Overall, this place is beautiful and has everything you need!

This was our 1st experience in PR. This house was AMAZINGLY beautiful and really show cased the outdoor space!! It was VERY clean, high quality linens. Had a nice cook space. The space it self was STUNNING!! The outdoor space was PERFECTION!!!! We actually booked for the lounge net area, and it did not disappoint!! **Downfalls [we understand that somethings are out of anyones control so more of a FYI] -There was nothing "comfy" about the house. It is all cement: bed frame, entire bathroom so alot of sharp edges, the sitting area had maybe 3 inch foam with a canvas topper. When the floor had ANY moisture and you are bare foot YOU WILL FALL! In the master bath between the mirrors have open spaces straight to outside no glass or screen. Which allows natural to come inside the house. Lizards and frogs find there way inside daily. The doors are super heavy, difficult to open but again its a giant piece of glass of course its heavy. At no time did we feel unsafe, with that being said you are literally on top of a mountain alone. And thats scary to think about. Lets talk about the road. I had never been to PR so i was not aware of how tight and tiny the roads are. The drive to the house is TIGHT & STEEP!! Some areas are so steep our tires would slip while going up the incline! Only rent a SUV, our 4 door Nissan HARDLY made it, returned it for a SUV our 2nd day. Roads are unmarked and HARD to see the edge. The cell service on the way comes in an out as you go, dont rely on it.

The apartment itself was clean and well designed. Please note that the garbage bins are located on the side of the building and the smell permeates the entire terrace which made it impossible to use during out stay. The area is noisey and the walls are thin so you can hear everything. Also the wifi was not reliable not sure if its because we were sharing the same router with other guests in the other apartments.
