First, the location is sooo close to the Riverwalk & restaurants. The house is cozy, yet roomy enough for the four of us (again, all adults). The owners have thoughtfully prepared the rental with so many extras(toiletries, insect repellents, “noise” machines for sleep, ring security, off street parking, local info - books & pamphlets, backyard patio amenities, great beds and linens, bottled water, and more). The only thing to be aware of is the claw foot tub/shower - so if mobility is an issue, that needs to be taken into consideration. We were able to quickly walk to downtown as well as through one of the oldest and most beautiful historic neighborhoods right outside our front door. The house felt very safe, and it was well furnished and spotlessly clean. I appreciated the big roomy fridge, great range and ample kitchen equipment.
