The title of the listing was ranch house with hot tub. This is the reason we chose this listing. However when we got to the property it was brought to our attention that the hot tub is off-limits to anyone who is renting here because the homeowners feel that running the hot tub cost too much money. Or at least this is what the home Tender next door to us said. We called and asked to cut our stay short as there was no access to a hot tub they offered a 10% discount for the inconvenience. My only reason for not giving five stars is because one of the amenities listed is a hot tub. On arrival we were informed we would be charged an additional $60 for a four hour use of the hot tub which included the one hour to heat it up (so 3 hours of usage). This was a turn off since we looked forward to relaxing in the hot tub since the weather was a little cooler and we wouldn't be using the pool. Ok, but we survived, but I have to give one less star for lack of a wifi connection. We do live in 2018 and for many of us, a conneciton to the internet is a must, in order to handle emergencies at work. We were told we would get a signal if we went to the pool area. We tried but the connection was no good. Also, when the owners where not in the property they seemed to turn off the wifi connection because I couldn't get a signal by the pool. Not that it would have worked, but I was trying to see if it did. For me, the per night rate is high enough where the hot tub and a wifi connection should be included in the price. To be fair, I did give the property the four stars because everything else was as advertised. ##### Damian P. Can't say enough about Roy and Cam the hosts, they were very helpful answering any and all questions, made us feel more like family than just quests. As this was an anniversary get away weekend for 2 couples we were hoping to send roses to our wives, Cam made all the arrangements and had them waiting on the table when we arrived. Enjoyed walking the ranch and seeing all the wildlife. The property is beautiful - we enjoyed morning walks and the pool. The location was great with short drives to Canyon Lake, San Antonio, and New Braunfels. Property owners were delightful to work with and very hospitable! We loved our weekend staying just north of San Antonio! The small town this home is located in was perfect for our family. The day we arrived the park about 2 miles up the road was having an outdoor movie theater for the kids. It was perfect! Cami and Roy were very welcoming and even offered to have us join them with brushing and feeding the two beautiful white horses on the property. Our children loved feeding and brushing the horses!! Our 2 dogs were very comfortable and enjoyed the back yard they had for them. We took hikes each evening and enjoyed great sunset views on the property. We had a fantastic stay with 3 kids and 2 dogs. I would like to add that Roy and Cami are living on the property right next door to the house and are very welcoming and accommodating. We enojed the pool, property, horses, town and informational talks with Roy. Thank you Cami and Roy for sharing your property and home with us we had a great time! ##### Mary B. The owners helped to make our stay relaxing and inviting. We headed to San Antonio for a wedding and opted to stay just outside of the city limits. The drive was only about 20 minutes and truly worth it for a chance to stay on 211 acres. The house had plenty of space for our family of 4\. The pool was just the right temperature to escape the heat and rejuvenate after checking out some sites. We were three women attending a jewelry workshop in town and this was the perfect spot for us. The owners are great, the horses are friendly and we can't wait to come back. We were looking forward to a couple of days relaxing by the pool, swimming and sitting in the hot tub. We were incredibly disappointed to learn that since we had booked, the owners changed their policy on the hot tub and it now costs $60 for 4 hours of use. There was no mention of this in the listing, which indicated there was a hot tub, but no extra charge. The owners indicated this was a new policy. The pool was way too cold to use, even putting your feet in was hard to do. The views were amazing, my kids loved the horses, and Cammy took us on walks and was so informative. My wife and I spent four nights at this house. It was the best, most relaxing mini-vacation we have taken. We loved meeting Camilla and Roy and getting to know them. They are wonderful host and were quick to supply our needs. We enjoyed the hot tub every night. There was no one else in the other home so we had the hot tub to ourselves.
