Our family of 4 (with two boys ages 13 and 11) stayed at the Pierre Hotel for 5 nights and we absolutely loved it! Our room was spacious and clean and had balconies overlooking the river. The hotel’s location is great - all the central areas of Siem Reap are within walking distance. We thought the breakfast buffet was excellent and REALLY loved the crystal-clear swimming pool. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, including with early check in and late checkout and helping us access laundry services and tuk tuk drivers. We would fully recommend the Pierre to others and would stay there again ourselves if in the area.

We have mixed feelings about our stay in Cambana, thus the 3 star review. There was construction at the hotel which started at 7:20 am everyday (even on Sundays) and the hotel did not bother to inform us before our arrival. The pool was a BIG factor why we booked this place but we didn’t even get to use it one time during our 6 day stay. There was construction debris in the pool and the noise all day was just unbearable. On another note, our two bedroom suite was perfect for our family. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent, which is exactly what we needed after exploring the temples all day. The staff were always helpful and made us feel at home. Make sure to ask for the tuktuk driver Bunthorm to drive you around the temples…he was definitely the highlight of our stay!

Stay would have been okay for the price - nearly as described except for its in the same alley as a karaoke bar so if you like a quiet stay this one is not for you. The shower in the bathroom has no curtain or screen so every time you shower it makes half the bathroom floor and the toilet soaking wet - no hot water whilst I was there. Be aware that there is no lift so if you cannot climb stairs easily then stay somewhere else.
