Our Aigner holiday home offers two beautiful and modernly equipped holiday apartments in Salzburg-Aigen, one of the most livable and lovable parts of Salzburg, for your holiday in Salzburg. Only a few minutes away from the old town, right on the Salzach River and in a quiet residential area, you can get to know the city of Mozart at its best.

In our house you can enjoy your vacation in Salzburg in a cultivated ambience, which offers you the best possible rest and an unforgettable vacation experience in appealing rooms. There is also a high-speed internet connection and free parking facilities directly in front of the house.

With its spacious and lovingly furnished rooms and a south-west facing balcony with a wonderful view of the Hohensalzburg Fortress and the surrounding mountains, this almost 100 sqm apartment is a very special treat for up to 7 people.
The apartment has a good 35 square meter living and dining room, which invites you to a relaxing TV evening - of course with satellite TV - and a meal together and provides a comfortable couch with a sleeping function. Location was great and the host was helpful also with getting the free transit passes for us all. Check in was easy. Host was very friendly and thorough on everything to do with the property and surrounding area info. Grocery /bakery were close and the rental has everything you need for day to day use. The property had lots of space for our group. We were not on top of each other. It was located in a nice quite location with a quick walk to grocery store and bus routes. The host was excellent and had everything ready for us. Including salburg cards that we purchased directy from him. He also assisted in sign us up with the free transportation in Austria so we did not have to pay for buses. Thw view was also great. I would stay here again as it had everything we needed.

Beautiful city and a great apartment

We loved Salzburg and enjoyed Georg's apartment. We met his sweet Mom upon arrival to drop our luggage and were able to check in early. The apartment had plenty of room and we had plenty of room to spread out. Georg was very responsive for anything we needed. One plus way the half bath - although small it was useful. We voted the shower our favorite in all of our travels with the great rain showerhead. Our bedroom had a gorgeous view of the Alps which I miss already. I would recommend that perhaps another mirror in the hallway and bedrooms might be useful. If someone is in the main bathroom there isn't another mirror for ladies to use for makeup, etc. The grocery stores are just up the street (Lidl and Billa) and the drugstore (dm) came in hand as a few of us picked up colds on the plane ride over. In terms of transportation the bus is definitely your best bet. The number 7 bus runs straight in to town and was very convent. The bus stop is just in front of the Lidl. Do not count on Uber at all as there are only about 4 drivers in all of Salzburg and taxi's are hit and miss in terms of getting them to pick up at the house. The bus worked perfectly and was close to the house. I hope to be back to Salzburg one day and I would definitely stay at Georg's home again. Thanks for a great trip.

Great place for a small family

The rental unit was less than 2 miles away from the Fortress Hohensalzburg, Mozart’s birthplace, museums and shopping. A perfect place to stay!

Spacious apartment located on the second floor Of a residential house. I guess you could rent the whole second floor if needed. I was there with my wife and daughter and the two spacious bedroom were splendid. The old town take 5-10 minutes by car so it is better to have a car to stay there. The neighborhood was peaceful at night you can even see the snow on the mountains nearby. Cheers!

We had a wonderful time in the beautiful city of Salzburg! The apartment was convenient by taxi and we also enjoyed a walk down to the river and across the bridge for dinner one night. We arrived early and were met by Georg’s mum who let us into the apartment to leave bags and collect keys. Helpful information given on how bet to get to old town of Salzburg. Buses nearby but for family of 6, we found taxis to be an inexpensive means of transport. Apartment is very warm with great facilities for cooking and dining.
