The house was spacious and well-laid out. The elevator and ramp made getting in pretty easy for my elderly father, but as the description suggests, none of the rooms are entirely handicapped-accessible. This was our first trip to Outer Banks and thus, the first time we worked with Surf and Sound Reality. They were very easy to work with and check-in was done all through email. The house was amazing! We were in during off season, so did not get the benefit of the pool, but everything else was great. It was just my husband and I, but the price of the house and location were exactly what we were looking for! The view was spectacular, watching the sunsets every evening from the back deck was so therapeutic! We laughed about the house having an elevator.... until we got there! Thank God for that elevator! LOL it saved us on the arrival and departure days!LOL You know its a great vacation when you REALLY don't want to leave.... that was the hardest part of the whole trip. It was a challenge but we did it. After 3 days they did replace the stove. There was a lot of rain that came in through the door wall in the dining room and in the basement which we had to use towels to dry it up. We let the office know about all the rain that came in. This will cause mold in the house so the owners need to be aware of this. All in all, we did enjoy our stay. ##### John A.
