The interior of the house is neat and comfortable Bordering Dordogne (Sarlat) and 1 km from the lively village of Salviac, chief town of the canton which is 15 km from Gourdon, located in the countryside, enjoying a pleasant orientation, overlooking a large private courtyard with garden furniture, parasol and barbecue . It was just perfect for families. Specially, with young children we were able to travel around and know that we were coming back to a big beautiful, clean Villa with lovely surrounding farm and garden’s, and then outdoor pool. Girard and Catherine were very helpful when we needed anything they were there to help or answer any questions Setting up our stay we needed a lot of communication back and forward to ensure everything was in place for the kids and Catherine provided very timely, clear communication. We were very thankful about that. The only small thing was that there was no air conditioning in the particular villa we were in we did know that before renting it however, what we didn’t expect, was super Duper heat wave, which made it a bit difficult, especially with young children however, again, Catherine and Girard went out of their way to help and brought us fans which made a big difference to cool things down Highly recommend this villa and the area in general we had a brilliant family holiday. Une et même plusieurs qualité : pas envahissants, mais disponibles pour tous renseignements ; parfaitement bien dans leur rôle, ils aiment recevoir, communiquer mais discrètement.Ma dernière remarque est qu'ils travaillent en confiance, fait rare de nos jours. Alors apprécions ! La maison...conforme au descriptif. Un point remarqué par la gente féminine : c'est très propre bien qu'ancien. les escaliers, l'étage m'ont fait penser aux paroles de J. FERRAT : "J'entends les vieux planchers qui craquent J'entends du bruit dans la baraque J'entends j'entends dans le grenier Chanter chanter mon châtaignier" sinon un calme, un grand calme ! Ceci avait une incidence sur notre temps de disponible ; le réveil tant pour les enfants que pour nous adultes, se faisait tardivement ! ainsi la journée était amputée de quelques heures mais quel repos ! une grande piscine loin, très loin du gite : 30 mètres. Nous ne manquions pas d'aller nous rafraichir après une journée découverte. Et dans la région y a de quoi découvrir ! dans un rayon de 40kms.Toutefois attention c'est 40 vrais kms ! pas de l’autoroute ! Par exemple pour la Gabare préférer St Cirq Lapopie sur le Tarn plutôt que la Dordogne. Il y a des écluses... mais à vous de découvrir. Maison confortable. Séjour réussi à tous points de vue. L'accueil est sympathique. Lieu adapté aux vacances avec des enfants. Piscine sécurisée et d'une taille suffisante. Le site est très calme, jolie ballade à pied pour se rendre au village La piscine très agréable, les extérieurs aussi pour jouer ou dîner près du barbecue.. Une maison très bien décorée, très soignée, très spacieuse, bien équipée, une piscine de rêve à partager, mais tellement grande, un terrain immense, la vue dégagée, le calme absolu sans l'isolement, des propriétaires très discrets et efficaces, merci! (Un seul bémol: la cabine de douche d'une des deux salles de bain. Tout est tellement bien que cela dénote un peu!) Nous avons passé deux magnifiques semaines, près de tout, mais pas trop, un vrai dépaysement. A recommander chaudement. ##### anne l. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et n'hésitent pas à vous donner le maximum d'informations sur la région. La maison est spacieuse et idéale pour la famille. La location est idéale pour faire des promenades jusqu'à Salviac qui se situe à 1 km; en résumé, nous avons tous été enchantés de notre séjour et le recommandons tout particulièrement pour ceux qui veulent également découvrir cette superbe région ( LOT et Dordogne); ##### DIDIER T. La maison est très spacieuse, la cuisine est très bien équipée, les chambres à l'étages bien agencées et bien décorées. Nous avons pleinement profité du jardin et surtout de la piscine, très bien entretenue. Les enfants sont en sécurité et bénéficient un immense terrain pour courir et s'amuser. Salviac est un endroit calme, très reposant. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et discret. Merci à eux... En résumé, nous recommandons vivement cette location... Nous avons hâte de revenir... Très grande cuisine, belles chambres, 2 salle de bain et trois toilettes, de quoi éviter toute promiscuité quand on vit à 8 en vacances. La piscine, très bien entretenue, a été très utilisée par toute la famille. L'endroit est calme et reposant et géographiquement Salviac est très bien situé pour organiser de belles visites dans un rayon de 45 km. Maison très spacieuse, située en haut d'un petit village, les enfants peuvent circuler librement en toute sécurité et profiter pleinement de la grande piscine. La cuisine est très bien adaptée pour une famille nombreuse et elle est très bien équipée. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et accueillants.
